There is some sort of competition and/or voting component, so couples get eliminated during the season. The rules of elimination are a little unclear… I’m pretty sure the producers just make the rules up as they go. At the end of the season, one couple is left standing. That couple decides whether to leave together, alone, or with one of the singles. Last year’s “winning couple” was divided – she wanted to leave together, he left with one of the singles.
Hollywood loves their reboots and remakes. Get ready for a new Top Gun, Indiana Jones, Men in Black, and a live action film for every Disney cartoon ever made. And don’t forget Clueless. For the love of God, please leave that perfect film alone. As Cher would say, “Ugh, as if!”
Reality TV has also hopped onto the reboot bandwagon. One of my favorite guilty pleasures, Temptation Island, just aired a brand new season. And I’m still reeling from that shocking finale aftermath with Kaci Campbell and Evan Smith. Now MTV has joined the club, and is bringing back their past hits too.
If you didn’t catch the reboot of Temptation Island, stop what you are doing right now and binge watch the newest season ASAP. The drama was unreal! The basic premise of the show is four couples go to “Temptation Island” and separate for several weeks to see if they make a connection with any of the singles waiting in the wings.
One of the couples on the show, Evan Smith and Kaci Campbell, came into the experience over confident. They had been on and off for ten years, and Kaci had been pushing Evan to propose. So, it only makes sense to test your relationship on Temptation Island! Kaci kept her journey on the island light and fun, while Evan immediately fell for another woman, Morgan Lolar. Needless to say, things did not end well.
