It’s only Episode 3 of Below Deck and everyone’s ready for it to be over. The first charter, of course, not the entire season! We’ve suffered through two weeks with these horrendously high-maintenance guests and it’s time to get them off the boat. So thankfully, although this week picks up right at the end of the fight over James Hough, it all fizzles quicker than Francesca Rubi letting the air out of a balloon. In fact, the only thing not deflating looks to be James’ chances with Francesca? Because surprisingly, the chief stew doesn’t entirely turn down the junior deckhand’s flirtatious banter. But maybe that’s just a sign that this first, terrible charter has made everyone on board crazy.
The next morning, the charter draws to a blessedly quick close. One that’s made even quicker by the fact that Captain Lee Rosbach opts to pull anchor and head for the dock early on account of the rain. So after a streamlined breakfast of French toast by Rachel Hargrove and a particularly tight docking, it’s time for guest departure. Oh, but one more thing! Because of course there’s one more thing. Primary guest (from hell) Charley can’t help but be a bit condescending in his goodbye, but follows it up with a giant tip — $25,000 to be exact. Which is huge, especially considering the crew was literally expecting no tip at all. But does giving a giant tip truly make up for being a terrible scourge on charter crews everywhere? I guess that’s just the world of yachting…
As per usual, there are conflicting reports about what the reunion will reveal. Shannon insists we “will see the truth” and “it’s clear as a bell.” However, Vicki says, “They wanted me to admit something that wasn’t the truth and I wasn’t going to. You’ll find out.” Clear as mud, considering Shannon’s truth and Vicki’s truth could NOT be further apart. Look below for a breakdown of the three-part reunion and the much-anticipated sneak peek.
As we previously reported, Tamra, who claimed she’ll be “absolutely vindicated” this season, insisted viewers will see a softer side of her this season. “I become a grandmother and take a spiritual journey in my life that I am excited to share with everyone,” Tamra said while promoting season ten. “We have a death to a birth and everything in between. The season is very raw with real life issues.”
That said, it will only be fun (for me) if Tamra is bothered by Meghan, but that doesn’t seem to be the case. <stomps foot> In a recent interview with Real Mr. Housewife, Tamra described Meghan as “one of the coolest girls” she has ever met. <throws wine> Why do these housewives refuse to give me what I want?!?
“I came in not knowing anyone,” said Heather. “I came from the scripted world, and I was very uncomfortable doing reality. When I first started the show, I was very buttoned-up and very reserved. It’s really been an evolution for me in the group and on the show.”
Heather cited family responsibilities and feeling isolated for her “anger” last season. “I was very tired,” she said, “and I didn’t see the other girls a lot. I felt very isolated. I was really angry last year. I wasn’t sure why. I think that’s why.”
Real Housewives Of Orange County has just started filming and there are surprises on the horizon! Rumors have been stirring for a while that Bravo is looking to re-introduce former Housewives as ‘friends’ this season, and Jeana Keough just confirmed that she is indeed filming!
“Thinking about doing a little work on the OC housewives this season, what do you think?” Jeana announced on twitter earlier this week. But last night Jeana confirmed she was participating in the show and filmed with Vicki Gunvalson, her neighbor and former close friend!
