The Real Housewives of New Jersey premiered last week on Bravo to very high ratings. It was the highest ratings ever received for a premier episode of the Housewives franchise. So with all the fame must come some scrutiny right? The NY Post wrote a very interesting article about these housewives and their skeletons. Below is a basic summary -
JACQUELINE LAURITA, 38 – Franklin Lakes Confesses on the show’s Web site to once having been arrested for fighting.
TERESA GIUDICE, 36 – Montville Owes money to design firm, a fertility clinic and vacuum cleaner company. Delinquent debts include $15,000 for a decorative railing on the mansion’s grand staircase. North Hudson IVF, a fertility clinic in Englewood Cliffs, is seeking $11,276 from the Giudices, according to a civil claim filed in November.
DANIELLE STAUB, 46 – Wayne Has a $130,557 federal tax lien against her and her ex. Claims to have been a Ford model; agency has no record of her.
DINA MANZO, 37 – Franklin Lakes Runs a charity that claims to be a nonprofit but does not have IRS taxexempt status.
CAROLINE MANZO, 47, Franklin Lakes Dina’s oldest sister, married to Dina’s husband’s brother. Hubby’s father found shot to death in the trunk of a Lincoln Continental in 1983.
Another major rumor going around is the Dina and her husband are currently separated and are no longer together due to his alleged cheating ways.
Did the plastic surgeon get paid in advance for Teresa’s “bubbies”? If not, you can add his name to the list of people who’ll never see their payment from her or her wannabe husband.
And Caroline’s full of shit. Her husband didn’t build up the Brownstone from nothing. It was a mob front given to her father-in-law decades ago! The Brownstone was already rolling in mob dough when Caroline’s husband inherited after his father — Albert, Sr “Tiny” — was found in the trunk of his car with 4 bullets in his chest.
It wasn’t a coincidence that several episodes of “The Sopranos” were filmed at The Brownstone…
OK, this is non-reality TV. Has anyone ever watched the other House wife shows? Have to say not a lot changed. NY was probably as close to “reality” as there was. If you really want to judge don’t watch

If Caroline wants to bold-faced lie about what a hard-working sacrifice her husband made to build the Brownstone from nothing with his own hands, when the truth is that it was handed to his father (a New Jersey MOBSTER) as a money-laundering front — and she’s putting herself out there on national TV for all the world to see, she’s fair game. And we’re all free to comment on these STUPIDOS…because we’re in America now.

Wow, well it doesn’t sound like this show will last with all these problems. Dina already seperated from her husband. I got the impression their may be trouble in paradise. Sorry to hear that.

Where do I begin. Was I the only one disgusted by Danielles pole humping and leg spreading? Really repulsive. For someone who is insecure about her body she sure does expose way to much of it.
i’m from jersey and where did you find these women? there are no african-american women represented.teresa is a joke. is she some kind of princess or something? as for caroline,i’m a big sister too but let her live her life. and if ashley grew up where i did, she would not have all that mouth. danielle is not all that so why do yall feed into her every word/move? or is this just television,nothing true just a show?i really thought you were portraying new jersey.and danielle needs her own show. she has major drama!
