The million dollar question on everyone’s mind is what cause Caroline Manzo to break down in tears during part 2 of The Real Housewives of New Jersey Reunion? Well Danielle claims the real reason is below in her new bravo blog -
“As for the end of the Reunion, when Caroline said such horrible things to me, I had no idea at the time what “disgraceful” acts she was referring to. I only found out later what she was talking about, from someone in her own family. I simply gave a phone number to her ex brother-in-law to contact proper people with questions that he had concerning something that was absolutely none of my business. I was asked to give this information to him. If I had to do it again, I would have declined and preferred not to get involved. But I think my minimal involvement did not justify Caroline’s behavior towards me.”
Hmm, interesting.
It is unlikely that professional victim Danielle did anything with Caroline’s ex brother-in-law without knowing how negatively Caroline would react. Danielle was enjoying watching Caroline fall apart as she (Danielle) sat across from her pretending not to know what on earth Caroline was talking about or why she was upset. Danielle looked so smug as she sat across from Caroline.
As for her latest blog, Danielle sounds like she’s lying even when using the written word. No way I’d ever waste my time reading her upcoming book. It’s a supposed memoir that should be classified under ‘cheap fantasy.’
Once again, Danielle will profit from the dark past she claims to want to leave behind.
Yeah I understand that Danielle is not the most trust worthy person but there’s nothing anyone can say that can convince me that Caroline will never have an issue with her. She and her “big bad family” will always hate Danielle. And why is she so damn worried when it involves her sister, not her. It’s Dina’s issue and if Dina can forgive her, Caroline should just give it up and move on to the plans for her son’s new strip club/car wash. I’m sick of her overly bossy, keep it in the family attitude. She doesn’t scare anyone…maybe when HBO comes out with the next mob dramatic series, she should read for the part! I’d cast her!
Whatever Danielle did in the past, it’s her life she should be able to get past any mistakes she made. None of us are perfect and we’ve all made mistakes. I think it’s totally ridiculous that people would pull things out into the media knowing this woman has children who will be victimized by this.
I think what Danielle did was attempt to have someone beat the crap out of Dina. But given the Manzo’s ties to the “community” it got back to the Manzos ans was stopped before it could happen. A show about free time, predicated on wealth, predicated on murder. The Soprano’s are back with the Real Housewives of New Jersey. Never has armpit New Jersey’s myopic concerns made such riveting drama.
If these are the kind of concerns these women entertain day in and day out, well, there’s a place called the San Diego zoo that might have living quarters for them where they can be observed in a more appropriate setting.
Rather than attempting to have someone beat up Dina, I think Danielle slipped Dina’s ex-husband (Caroline’s ex brother-in-law) information that she hoped would effect Dina’s custody of daughter Lexie. Hence Caroline’s deep rage at Danielle and Dina’s deep fear of her.
This all seems to tie in with Danielle’s remark at the final supper that she (Danielle) doesn’t get drunk in front of her children at 2 a.m. Apparently, Danielle had been terrorizing Dina with the threat of having her daughter taken away from her.
Moreover, it is likely that Danielle received this information from Jacqueline, who surely never imagined that it would be used in such a diabolical way. This could tie in with Jacqueline’s reference at the reunion that she didn’t know what was going on at the time when it came to Dina and Caroline’s dislike of Danielle.
After having a chance to read all of their blogs following the second reunion show, this theory seems more likely and casts Danielle in an even worse light.

Really that is it good lord Caroline was going on like it was the worst thing ever. They call Danielle a drama queen- Big momma Caroline might want to look in the mirror, that was some drama!!!! She knew good and well she was making it look like Danielle tried to hurt her..cheap ploy on Caroline’s part!!! Considering her double standards and being a huge hypocrite I am not at all shocked though!
I actually stand behind Caroline’s decision to call out Danielle 100%. We, of course, should practice forgiveness when it is due, however, how could Caroline begin to forgive Danielle when she sat on national TV and looked Caroline and Dina in the face and claimed to be “unaware” of what Caroline was talking about? Danielle should have owned up to her immature actions and apologized like the grown ass woman she pretends to be. I’m sure Dina, Theresa and Caroline would change some of their comments and actions seen on the show, should they have the chance to go back and do so, but who can honestly say they have acted accordingly and proper the first time around in every situation? No one is perfect. I applaud Caroline’s persistence in protecting her family. I would have done the same thing. Family is the one thing we are born into and blessed with for the rest of our lives. Some family members are stronger than others and should stick up for those who are more reserved and may not know how to defend themselves. I’m disappointed that Caroline’s defense of her sister is receiving so much controversy. Who are we to judge?

Caroline, am I the only one who noticed Caroline saying she wasn’t “faking” when she had her little “hard as” breakdown? I suspect it took all she had to wipe that smug smile off her face and force the tears. She didn’t get the sympathy she was begging for. HA! Watch the show again and look for it, if you didn’t notice it before. I also think Dina does resent Caroline always making a mountain out of a mole hill. I was stunned Dina stood up for herself and accept Danielle’s apology. I think Caroline was at stroke level at that point, wringing her hands…she was ticked..Dina didn’t follow her lead. Good job Dina. I cannot stand Caroline, she is a liar when she claims her Father In Law was not in the Mob, when local law enforcement state in fact, different. After asking for forgiveness at the Reunion, I am not sure Danielle even knew what she was really asking for but it showed in her last blog, that those three Jersey Women can kiss her size 0 ass. I don’t blame her, one bit.

Dina really didn’t have any choice to be forgiving on the reunion show..otherwise her charity LadyBug would take a great hit.

Dyann -I agree with your every word. Caroline is a joke, calls herself small but scrappy. Yea, after watching Danielle climbing those walls at the wall gym, Danielle could whip her with one arm tied behind her back. This ladie…Caroline…threatening to whup ass…wow…ain’t she tuff.
I noticed Caroline nor Jackie bothered to honor their agreement with Bravo to blog the last show. Tersea defended why she was a whip ass, made it short and sweet. (She was actually replaying what she had seen her brother and father do, flipping a table..oh brother) I hope this is a good sign we won’t be subjected to their Jerry Springer tactics again.

I hope that this show is NOT on for a second season. They are all actually boring people compared to the NY and OC housewives. If it wasn’t for the feud with Danielle, what would have made this show remotely intereting? Caroline and Dina are italian sisters who married into a wealthy mafia family–BFD. Teresa is an uneducated dope who obviously married her husband for his money(he is a short, troll). Jacqueline is the “girl next door” who has to constantly put up with her pushy, overbearing sisters-in-law and Danielle–well she just needs some serious psychiatric counseling (at least 10 years worth). If you read Jacqueline’s recent blog, she is no longer friends with Danielle and has no intention to reconcile–that being said, how could they do a second season? I doubt these women want to film together for a second time considering the mutual disdain they all feel.
This group needs to be put to rest. They all have checkered pasts. Caroline’s diatribe about how her deceased father-in-law was not involved in corruption is bogus. She thinks the public is naive. Quick to judge EVERYONE else but her own associations. Teresa’s excuse for only paying “cash” is baloney. Both families are questionable. The FACT that her father-in-law was found in a trunk and the police have info about mafia ties is enough for me.
Start with a fresh group of REAL housewives and get rid of this ridiculous group.
If the other ‘Real Housewives’ shows are any indication, the New Jersey housewives won’t have a problem returning for a second season. Bravo will surely make the offer enticing enough that it’ll be hard to refuse in these uncertain economic times.
So far, most all the housewives in this franchise have been able to ‘forgive’ if not forget. Besides, the emotional baggage carried from one season to the next only enriches this particular series’ entertainment value.
Plus, the dynamics between the cast members are forever fluctuating, keeping the viewers watching. For example, the relationships between Jacqueline, Danielle, and Dina have taken an unforeseen turn that can only enhance their market value for season 2. So my money is on this cast returning.

I heard there is going to be a second season. Geez. The big difference between these women and the other housewives is no one has a criminal record on the other shows. And no one is hated as much as Danielle. They may be returning but I agree with Katie, it would be best if they do not.
I think Danielle and Teresa are the most hated for sure, they are both sleazy and low class. Dina and Caroline, we will see…….something is just not right about them.
Jacqueline is the star on that show, a breath of fresh air. She doesn’t throw her money around because she values her family over everything else….she is the only one who has class. Her husband is ADORABLE too!
Yes, Jacqueline screaming “Liar!” at her sister-in-law, Dina, on national tv and then explaining in her blog that she misunderstood the conversation that she jumped into and was wrong (yet still didn’t apologize) shows real class.

Come on guys (Jennifer, Laura, Calie) it is ok to state your opinions about the cast, but to make inappropriate comments about their children, in my opinion, is a little out of hand. Teresa, Danielle, Dina and Caroline where all wrong in my opinion for the way they carried on, on the show; however it is not the children’s fault. They did not ask to be on the show. Let’s be adults here.

I’m still in shock that Caroline and Dina go after Danielle using a book written by her ex-husband. Please! How many people have ex’s that hate them? Not to mention the fact that they both knew it was only time before their own “dirty laundry” would come out. Caroline stated she wanted people investigated that were around her…for heaven’s sake! She nor her mafia family could pass the test! She even sounds like a mob queen.
As for the Danielle’s kids being at the dinner and hearing the argument….it wasn’t Danielle that tossed the table. The conversation up to that point was certainly not acceptable for children.

The group of ‘pigs’ really do deserve one another. I think they use the word so much, because they see themselves in Danielle. I dont care what Danielle did previously, it really has NO bearing on anything to do with any of them. THEY brought it INTO the show – they did that themselves. They set (Caroline specifically) about investigating her, and quite honestly, Caroline deserves to be around a piece of trash like Theresa. Talk about being a whore, she sells herself out repeatedly.
Seeing that clip about how she claims she did not know they did not have money – not believing that for one second. She liked acting like they had so much money, and quite honestly, I would have had more respect for any of them had they even admitted the truth once: they began the problems.
Can Danielle bring drama to a grouping? absolutely. There is no doubt about it. But she is NOT at all the instigator in much of what transpired, and I like how they all pretend they have no part in all the crap that went down. For instance, Theresa setting out to START a fight with Danielle near the bathroom, that led to her immediately calling Danielle a bitch.. proved how trashy Theresa is. She wanted to light the wick, and that Ashley is another piece of trash. I used to think her mom ‘might’ be the only sane one, but she showed her true colors.
I hope that Danielle does find peace, and I really hope that Bravo finds another group of NJ wives to follow around, because even Snooky is higher class than the lot of them.
