Chris Lambton wants nothing to do with the Bachelor franchise reports E! News.
According to E! online, the former Bachelorette finalist has rejected ABC’s offer to have him become the next Bachelor. Chris’s reason? He reportedly wants to step away from the spotlight and return to his “normal life.”
In layman’s terms, Chris is not a famewhore, which of course only makes him more likable. However, sources tell E! that the ABC network is not ready to give up on Chris yet.
“The producers really want Chris to be the guy,” says a source. “They’re hoping they can convince him…This definitely isn’t dead yet.” An ABC insider adds that it’s “too soon” to determine who will be the next Bachelor.
Though Chris would have made a great Bachelor, must say this is a smart choice for him, as show has gotten much trashier and phony by the minute.
In other news, approximately 2 months after her nasty split with Jake Pavelka, it seems Vienna Girardi has moved on to a new man!
The 24-year-old Florida native, who had to endure a sexless relationship with Jake, stepped out with new beau John Sala on Tuesday. Usweekly reports the two lovebirds got very cozy during their night out.
Vienna posted on her twitter on Tuesday, “Yes, Im dating and he is amazing guy…Im so Happy!!.” Here’s to hoping we won’t have to read the sordid details of this relationship when it ends, not that we think it won’t last forever or anything.

every time I see Vienna’s name is print of think of the sausages. hopefully she will be happy, she seems like a whiner though.
I loved Chris and he’s obviously gorgeous, but I don’t think he’d make a good bachelor. I mean come on… he’s in his 30′s and lives with his dad and he doesn’t seem very ambitious. They need to bring in someone new who is both attractive and successful like an Andrew Firestone type. I really hope they don’t use any of the guys from Ali’s season. None of them impressed me.
For someone who said she wanted out of the public eye, Vienna is sure in the public eye a lot. :/

Do you even know Chris’ background and why he lives with his Dad? Since when does being in your 30′s mean you don’t deserve to find love? What makes you think he isn’t successful? (Please go back and read your post if you’re confused as to why I’m asking you this.)
Honestly, I think he made a VERY good and SMART decision by NOT being the next Bachelor.
Sweetcakes: Sorry if my comment offended you, but I think we should all be able to comment here without being called names for having different opinions. I don’t view myself as a gold digger as I am doing very well in my career and am financially independent. I agree with you that Chris made a good decision to not be the bachelor b/c I don’t think that he brings the total package that I personally like to see in the bachelor of looks, personality and a successful career. I understand he’s close with his family and wanted to be supportive of his dad after his mom died. I absolutely think people in their 30′s deserve love. My impression of him was that he didn’t seem very independent, ambitious or have career goals because of his career history that was listed and when he made comments to Ali like “I would be happy just collecting trash if I could be with you.” I understand that he didn’t mean that literally, but it didn’t seem like he had much of a career plan for what he would do if he moved to San Francisco to be with her. I respect that your opinion is different from mine and I welcome hearing other opinions.

This makes Chris only hotter. I don’t think he would be the right fit anyway. I agree with Bryan. New blood, look outside the franchise once more, and can they please do that just once with the Bachelorette as well?
