A new winner was crowned last night on the finale of CBS’ Big Brother 13. Following a season filled with many twists and turns, the final two came down to a newbie vs. a veteran.
In the end returning veteran Rachel Reilly, a 27-year-old waitress, emerged the winner, leaving the game with both her man and $500,000! Rachel, who won the final HOH thus deciding whom she wanted to go up against, beat runner up Porsche Briggs, 23, in a very close vote.
Rachel ultimately won by a vote of 4 – 3. Shelly Moore ended up being the deciding vote as both Porsche’s and Rachel’s alliances remained loyal to them until the end. But don’t feel too badly for Porsche as she also left the game $50,o00 richer.

America’s Favorite Houseguest was also revealed and CBS might as well rename this the Jeff Schroeder award as the returning vet took home the $25,000 prize for the second time.
As for Rachel, she is planning to use her winnings to plan her wedding and her future together with her fiance Brendon Villegas.
CBS also announced earlier this week that the show will return for a 14th season. Fingers crossed that it’s the highly anticipated return of the all-star season!

Well she def deserved to win it. Going in as of day 1 she was the main target, and yet all these idiots let her stay in til the end.
Not gna lie, I was really rooting for Adam to pull through and make it atleast to final 2.
As much as Rachel desrves this win, I’d rather her have lost. call me sour grapes but whatev.
Congrats Brenchal….even though Vegas Rachel sans PHD student is waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay better than Brenchal.

No more of the golden key – let everyone compete.
No more mix of vets and newbies – let the vets have their own All Star season.
No more slop – that is getting old.
No more of Jesse – we’ve seen enough of him.
Having Tori on for Adam was too predictable – we could see that coming. Hoff on?? Why him – some didn’t even know who he was and he sure didn’t know anything about them or the show.
Need to mix things up – houseguests now know how things are done. For the first time I was about to watch on Showtime and they were always aware of the schedule and acted accordingly.
Plan on more activities in the house so they will not get so bored.
Hopefully we’ll get an interesting cast for #14 with many more twists for more action.
Rachel totally deserved to win. In the end, Adam and Danielle proved to be sourpuss sore losers and voted personal. Shelly shocked me with doing the honorable thing. Maybe there’s hope for her yet.
Is it just me or did Danielle come across as the MOST bitter of losers ever?
Lots of complaining about this season but I thought it was much better than season 12. Glad my girl Rachel won. Daniele can go pound rocks.
And another thing – you could tell that Rachel would win – she had the jury votes. Now that she has won maybe that’s the last we’ll see of her – except this pm when she appears on Julie’s Show. She’ll be in a great mood now since she was with her man last night!!
Rachel deserved to win. She was the underdog from the start of the game because no one liked her and like her or not she was a formidable opponent. Didn’t think Adam deserved to be in the final 2.
Can’t stand Danielle. She is a SORE LOSER.

I’m so happy she won. Shelly’s vote really shocked me b/c I was sure she’d vote personally, so I’m pleased that she was mature enough to base her vote on strategy.
Adam surprised me too. His ego was through the roof last night. I still don’t understand what set him off about Rachel this week that made him vote for Porsche after telling Rachel he would vote for her if she won part 3 HOH. Adam’s reason in his interview with Evel Dick that he saw Shelly’s key and knew Rachel would win anyway, so he voted for Porsche was such a load of BS! I don’t get why he had a problem with Rachel at the end after saying he’d vote for her. She seemed annoyed about his vote during the backyard interviews too.
Not going to lie, Rachel seriously annoyed me in the beginning. Last season it seemed like she had more fight in her and in the beginning of this season she was a total crybaby. I was glad she was able to snap out of it and fight to stay in it!
Shelly did not surprise me with her vote…..I saw it coming…..she blamed Porsche for her getting voted out because she opened pandora’s box, so I knew she wasn’t going to vote for P……Shelly was the biggest snake this season and why does she have to always raise her voice when talking? I also think she has a hard on for Rachel anyway….lmao…watch out Brendan…..
I may be wrong, but I thought the fix was in for either Rachel or Brendan to win from the get go…..I mean all of the twists benefitted both of them at some point…..the voting back a house guest into the game = Brendan, bringing back duo teams for one week just when it looked like either Rachel or Jordan would go home = Rachel ended up winning HOH & POV…..but I can’t argue with the fact that Rachel does know how to compete and won the most competitions, so based on that she so deserved to win……
I think Porsche made a big mistake by keeping Rachel and voting out Jordan because Jordan was not a strong competitor and she would have won with taking either Adam or Jordan in the final two slot…….
Adam was thought of as a floater and they would have been so reluctant to vote for Jordan (even though they like her) because she has already won once before…….I would have rolled the dice on these two scenarios and sent Rachel packing if it was me…….
Glad Jeff won the 25 grand. This further proves to me that the network does love them some J&J and Brenchel……..they all came out winners…….and something tells me that they will be back again for BB all stars……
Adam was pissed Rachel didn’t take him to the final two….shoot, 50 grand is a heck of a lot more than walking away empty handed…..so, I knew he was not going to vote for Rachel……

Re. Adam being pissed at Rachel – from what I gathered watching Showtime Rachel said something to Adam that really set him off and you tell that he wouldn’t vote for Rachel.
Adam should consider himself lucky he was able to Forest Gump his way to final 3.
Portia did step up her game a few weeks back but I don’t think she deserved to be in final 3.
As annoying as Rachel can be that girl plays her heart out and she deserved to win. Nice to see someone that actually deserves to win actually win.
It was nice to see Danielle get her comeuppance. She is so damn full of herself. She thinks she is the best BB player ever and nothing could be farther from the truth.
@RT – I really doubt that they’ll do an All-stars season right after having a bunch of vets this season, but if they do, who are you hoping to see on All-stars?
I really want to see Britney/Ragan/Matt from BB12, Ronnie/Michelle from BB11, Dan from BB10, Shelly/Dominic from BB13, Sheila from BB9, and maybe Jen/Amber from BB8. I’m hoping they don’t have any 3-peat contestants that have already gotten to play twice.
I am happy this season is over! Happy Rachel won, hopefully, her and Brendon can go away! Good for Jeff and Jordan, they got to spend the summer together. (Is this how they plan on having arelationship? Seeing each other on reality tv?. I hope next season is much better. (Just no more Rachel!)

Adam was going to vote for Rachel or maybe he was just saying that to kissy-kissy fully knowing that Rachel might win the HOH. He was already close with Porsche.
Don’t quote me 100% on this but earlier this week Porsche said that she missed her interview with the BB producer and her friend Janelle (past player) gave her the telephone # to a BB producer.
She acted like this was not a big deal and had nothing to do with her getting on the show.
I think Rachel might of said something super snarky because after this conversation is when Adam changed his mind saying he had lost all respect for her and would vote for Porsche.
Adam is a sore loser and starting acting really douchy towards the girls. I think he really thought he was going to win!

@18OklaHW – I think Dick said it was something about a friend needing him and it was private, but it was really unclear. I think he really chose to leave in order to be able to do his Big Brother recap shows on his web site http://www.rtvzone.com. His web site gained a lot of popularity during the season, so it would make sense.
I didn’t like or dislike Evel Dick, so I wouldn’t mind seeing him on All-stars, especially if they brought on Amber/Jen from his season who he hated. I don’t think he would make it as far in an All-stars season as he likes to brag that he would though.

Atta Girl Rachel!! I hated her ass but she deserved to win BY FAR. Daniele is such a sore loser, she straight up acts like a little kid. Porsche’s BIGGEST mistake in this game was evicting Jordan and not Rachel. She would have won the final HOH and could’ve taken Jordan to the final 2 and for sure beat her. The second I saw her do that, I knew Rachel had it in the bag. Adam was a sore loser also, i love how the crowd booed him for voting for Porsche haha. And no Adam, you would not have won the money because you didnt do SHIT all season. Kalia and especially Daniele showed that THEY played a personal game by not voting for Rachel to win. She comments about how Rachel shouldnt be rewarded for her personal attacks….ummm….does she really not remember the hell her dad raised in the BB house? Running around picking fights and banging pots and pans, c’mon. Daniele thinks she is just the best player ever but cant give credit where credit is due, and I lost respect for her on that one. Congrats to Rachel, no one in that house worked as hard as she did to get there.
Oh and Daniele, your personality is as flat as your ass so I wouldnt talk if i were you. Bitter bitch!

I’m really upset with our local CBS station. apparently they had issues last night and right when the jury was questioning Rachel, the station went dead, and stayed dead! I watched all season and didn’t get to watch the finale. I’m not happy!
Agree that we’ll probably never know exactly why Dick left – only that a friend had a personal problem. Too bad as he would have turned this season upside down.
Sounds like Prosche and Janelle were friends and that P was given a lucky ring. She ended up with $55,000 which isn’t bad for a summer gig. Janelle is one of my all time favorites – heard she was expecting a baby.
We’ll probably never see anything as original and funny as Will & Boogie with their phone calls.
Heard that Jeff and Jordan were moving in together as soon as they decide were.

@Ragin – I don’t know what’s in the slop. It looks kind of like oatmeal, but I’m guessing it’s really bland. I think they had to add the America’s choice have-not food too though ever since that BB9 girl went into a diabetic attack from being on slop.

I was never a fan of Rachel, but she’s a good player. However, I hate that Jeff won America’s Favorite Player. He bullied every woman in that house except for Jordan and he thought bc he was Big Jeff/a vet that he was entitled to win. He kept saying they were playing Dani’s game, but he was just upset bc they weren’t playing his. Ugh
well…since rachel spent half of the season complaining about how big brother ruined her life…it became clear that the producers rigged the show for her to win so she’d stfu!! ALLISON GRODNER NEEDS TO BE FIRED!

Congrats to Rachel! I like her because I think she is genuine and allows herself to be vulnerable. She isn’t a people pleaser. Dani turned out to be a total nothing and she is soooo jealous of Rachel. She needs a lot of psychological help or she will be alone forever. Her coping skills make her bizarre.

Rachel is a little too vulnerable over a TV show, I was so sick of seeing her cry all of the time. I really hope this is the last time I have to see Rachel or Brendon on TV. I’m not looking forward to a possible 2nd All-Star season bc she’ll be back.
Let’s be REAL…rachel was instigating alot of the fights and cattiness with dani and kahlia. Dani never engaged rachel but she did indeed talk behind rachel’s back but lets’s NOT FORGET RACHEL DID TOO AND SO DID JORDAN! Rachel is NO VICTIM or underdog and jordan is NO SWEET ANGEL! They ALL were catty and they ALL were hypocritical! To come down so harsh on dani is ridiculous , biased and selectively blind! Rachel GAVE JUST AS GOOD AS SHE GETS AND SOMETIMES SSHE GAVE EVEN MORE! Rachel had alot of help getting her to the end with all the stupid twists and others helping to keep her in the house! For rachel to say had to change her game after brendon left and p,ayed social??? When did rachel play social??? She was constantly in dani’s face, she cried in most of the time and the ONLY person she socializwd with was jordan, who kept her on a veryshort leash!
I groaned when Rachel came back in the house this season–however–she truly won me over! She was always good @ competitions but she really stepped up her game play/social game and kept her emotions out of it. She deserved to win BY FAR! Danielle is a sore loser. Kahlias a loud mouth. Porsche–im like Jeff on that one–didnt notice she was even in the house most of the season. Adam–stop roaring you aging metal head. Its annoying. And you most certainly did not deserve to be in that final 3.
Also, i agree with Babson 3 and Bond 11 — hope CBS reads this! And yes i do think the whole thing was skewed so either Brenchel or J&J would win. Especially when Rach and Jordon were on the block and sure to go–the duo twist comes back?! Still– im soooo happy Rachel won– she won me over this season and i was a hater! CBS/TLC/whoever–yes i wanna see Brenchal and J&J’s weddings! I also think Brenchal would be fun to watch on Amazing Race.

I was so happy Rachel won. She was the only deserving one there. The other final two did not even deserve to be there. Gosh at the voting ceremony was it really necessary for some of the catty nasty remarks from the girls to Rachel? Dani-what a snotty, jealous, and resentful cow! Defenitely daddy issues there. And fat-ass Kalhia-wake up next time your on tv and maybe you would win some money too. Porshe-didn’t dserve any money at all-she should give at least half to Rachel. And talk about ungrateful Adam…you should be ashamed of yourself!
So happy for Ra-chel! She really turned herself around this season. I’ll admit, I loved to hate her last season. After Brendon left the first time this season, Rachel was a complete mess. Jordan helped her out, as well as Jeff. After Brendon’s return and ultimate 2nd eviction, Rachel’s nastiness left with him. She will never be the “sweetheart” Jordan portrays, but that is not who she is. Rachel is a nice girl inside and out. I believe “life” happened and like others, she chose the arrogant path to make up for her shortcomings. I truly believe she has seen the mistakes she has made personally in life — not just in the game. How exciting for her to win the half million! Not to mention the fabulous vacay to Aruba she won on The Talk! My own opinion is that Rachel would be better off without Brendon. He is too critical of Rachel and her past. Not to mention, he critiques every move she makes down to how to wash a dish. How soon he forgets it was Rachel that accepted HIM back into HER life after HIS cyber-cheating/scandal and total mockery he made of Rachel and his relationship. He also made a fool of himself and showed the world exactly what a low class tool he is with the worldwide “you tube apology” to Rachel earlier this year. (which was discussed at length on The Talk when it happened) Rachel, do yourself a favor, dump Brendon! You are gorgeous! There are plenty of nice men out there who want you for YOU-just the way you are! Men who will not criticize your every move, every flaw, and every bite of food you take! You deserve more than a “career student” who will never amount to anything. If Brendon is so hard at work on his PhD how did he have time to be “yanking it” on skype while you were the one out working? Thinking about all your possibilities! Truly happy for you! You deserve it and hope you have the time of your life!
Agree with all that Dani had the a chip on her shoulder the size of New York. She needs to mature and fast! Dani’s incessant whining is pathetic and childish. Her snark is not even remotely funny. My two year old knows one liners funnier than she does. Seriously, I now despise hearing “shocker” is that the only comeback Dani knows? What 25 year old walks around going “dun dun DUN” “Bom Bom BOM” all the friggin time?? When I was 25, I already OWNED my home and had 2 kids! Dani acts like a 2 year old and lives with her Grandmother.
Porsche is a glorified prostitute who desperately needs a maternal role model FAST! I could not believe the antics she pulled in the house– the benefiber in the muscle milk (which Jordan drank and became sick because of), her hiding belongings like a child. I can’t believe most of these kids are 23-25 years old!!!
Kalia the 30 year old who did not know when to shut the F up! Who sleeps that much??!! Checked out her blog and her other “writing”– um not so much as Kalia would say. Here’s my advice: GET A JOB A REAL JOB. No one wants to hear your stories, we have all heard them now, especially us Live Feeders! jeez, this girl can talk, and talk, and talk. Kudo’s to the camera guys/gals at times when Kalia was yakking on the feeds — they would intermittently cut to the digital clock on the stove to show HOW LONG Kalia had been talking. hilarious!
Then there’s ADAM–the 40 year old going on 20 LOSER! Yes, he is a loser–final 3 is nothing! The self proclaimed “Big Brother super fan” may have made it to Final 3, but it was entirely luck that got him there. I will give Dani ONE prop — her (if it was her’s) new adage of “piggy-backer” to define a player such as Adam. And how fitting it correlates to bacon! ugh! A 40 year old, bacon loving, hairy back, loser! Adam loved the camera he thought the season was the season of Adam. His Tori Spelling rants and raves, his shout outs, his bacon infomercials, oh how we had enough of you Adam. Suffice to say, you will not be back for any “All Star” episode or another round of ‘Fans vs. Favorites” — by now you know you were NOT a favorite of many.
I’m disgusted that Jeff was supposedly voted AP. He’s a mysoginistic, homophobic bully. Some people call Danielle a sore loser? What about Jeff and his reactions towards Shelly? Backstabbing is part of the game and Jeff kinda backstabbed Danielle when he backdoored her. Stop rigging the phone results BB!
