In today’s not so shocking news, TMZ reports that Kim Kardashian is moving forward with her divorce after all!
If you recall, Kim, 31, had visited “husband” of 72 days Kris Humphries in Minnesota over the weekend in what many felt was simply an attempt to save face from the public backlash. Kimmie or “sources” close to her rather even managed to leak out a story to TMZ stating she was open to reconciliation.
Fast forward to today especially since the Minnesota visit didn’t help her image, and the divorce is 100% back on! TMZ states that while Kimmie is still pretending to be somewhat conflicted, she feels getting a divorce is the right thing to do. The purpose of the Minnesota trip is now being described as a trip for face-to-face closure with Kris.
While Kris continues to remain mum on the divorce for the time being his father is now speaking out on his behalf.
In the latest issue of Life & Style magazine, out on newsstands Friday, William Humphries is brutally honest when he tells the mag that his son Kris was totally “blindsided” by the divorce, confirming Kris did indeed find out about it through the media.
“There was never a discussion about it — it just came out of nowhere and blindsided Kris,” William reveals. “How could someone do that? Kris was completely surprised. The news was already published before he found out!” Wow.
While a rep for Kim continues to insist Kris knew the divorce was coming, his friends and family say Kris remains heartbroken. “He’s hurting, but we’re here for him,” William reveals to Life & Style. “It’s nice that he’s here [in Minnesota] with family during this time.”
Kris was reportedly so hurt by the divorce filing that he refused to even speak to Kim until she surprised him by flying to Minnesota on Nov. 6 to hash out the details of the divorce. “Kris told me that Kim was texting him a lot, but he wouldn’t respond,” his friend tells Life & Style. “They did speak briefly the day the split was announced — but only because Kim was apparently pissed that Kris had released his own statement.”
Kris’ dad adds: “It’s not a nice situation. No matter how you look at it, he’s going through a divorce.” In the meantime, Kris reportedly wants back the engagement ring he gave to Kimmie, valued at $2 million, though Kim is refusing to return it. In fact, Kim’s mom Kris Jenner has publicly stated Kim deserves to keep the ring, adding that Kris H. would be an “Indian giver” if he wanted it back.
When it comes to the wedding gifts, worth over $200,000, Kris is not happy with Kim’s decision to keep them. “Kris is disgusted that Kim is making a donation to the Dream Foundation,” a friend of Kris’ says of Kim’s decision to donate money to charity in favor of returning the gifts. “The gifts cost people a lot of money. They should be able to get their money back.”
As for Kim, she is back to work as she flew into Atlanta yesterday to start filming Tyler Perry’s movie “Marriage Counselor.” As reported, Tyler has been receiving a ton of backlash from his fans for hiring Kim to be in his movie. But then again perhaps this is all part of a master plan by Tyler to officially end Kimmie’s career by having her star in the surely soon to flop movie!
And finally, the E! network continues to keep it classy by definitely not taking advantage of all the press regarding Kim and Kris’ divorce. In a new preview clip released for the upcoming Kourtney and Kim Take New York, set to premiere Nov. 27, Kim and Kris can be seen getting into more fights as Kim contemplates breaking up with her husband!
The clip, posted below, also confirms my suspicions that Kris Humphries will definitely be getting a jerk edit on the reality show while Kimmie will be made to look like a long suffering sympathetic bride… albeit a long suffering sympathetic bride of only 72 days.

UPDATE -It seems E! has taken down the video. In the clip, Kim is heard contemplating breaking up with Kris, saying he has been out partying every night since their move to NYC, and also accusing him of not telling her about his whereabouts.

Does anyone know if their is anything organized as far as a boycott of Sears or the E channel. Are their any blogs? I’m technologically challenged, so I don’t know how to set anything like that up. If someone else has a blog with an on line petition, that could be very effective. It works in politics. If enough people make a stand, we could make a change.It’s not just a TV show. It’s so much more. The messages they send to our youth has serious implications. They have a large fan base amongst young girls.
@108 Happy Feet: I didn’t know about QVC. So there’s another one to boycott. Sears, E, QVC. Cancel season passes on DVR’s. Give thumbs down on DVR’s that take suggestions so it won’t accidentally record the show.

The latest re: pimpmomager. I found this on tamaratattles.com: Denise Brown apparently gave an exclusive interview to The National Enquirer (kind of an odd choice if you ask me) calling Kris “pathetic”. In the book, Kris writes about Denise calling her asking her for help regarding a safety deposit box containing pictures and other evidence of O.J. Simpson’s abuse just days after Nicole was killed. Denise tells The National Enquirer “I had just found out my sister was murdered. The last thing on my mind was whether or not Nicole showed anyone any pictures she had in a safety deposit box.” Denise Brown is furious with Kris Jenner over what she sees as an exploitation of her sister’s brutal death for profit. She stated “I think most people will question her intentions of writing about my sister’s murder. I am really disappointed in Kris. For the past two-and-a-half years, my family has had some relative peace regarding all of this stuff. Now that Kris has brought it up again, she’s split open the healing wounds.For her to write about it is like reliving it all over again. My poor mother is really taking it hard.”
