Finally some happy Bethenny news to report! In a new interview with In Touch Weekly, Bethenny Frankel opens up about being a mommy and discusses trying for a second child with husband, Jason Hoppy. In a shocker, Bethenny also reveals she is open to adopting!
“Women tell me they never regret having a second one, they regret not having a second one,” Bethenny reveals of wanting a sibling for daughter, Bryn. And now is the time for baby number two!
Following a year of many ups-and-downs, the Bethenny Ever After star who just celebrated her 41st birthday is ready to expand her family and is wondering if she will be able to get pregnant a second time. Bethenny tells In Touch: “I’m getting up there, especially for getting pregnant.”
While Bethenny insists they haven’t “ruled out” another biological child, if the couple does not conceive, Bethenny isn’t worried! “I am also open to adoption,” she shares. Bethenny explains that adoption has a lot of benefits, including “the freedom of not worrying about my age and the ability to give a child a home.” And hey – not having to worry about baby weight! Although that could be a whole ‘nother line of Skinnygirl products to roll out…
Bethenny confesses that she always knew motherhood was her destiny and before she had a man she considered adopting as a single mother. “When I had no prospects, and no idea what the future held, I thought I would adopt,” she declares.
Though she finds that “balancing career with being a mother is challenging,” even with nannies, she definitely wants to expand her family. “I know what’s important now and I just love being home with my family.” The Frankel-Hoppy family adopting would definitely be an interesting and exciting twist on what could possibly be the final season of their show!

First I was going to say that she already has a son named Jason … but I hear Octomom is looking 2 make some $$$ … maybe she can carry another Hoppy specimen.
There are several displaced children who are in need of a loving home, but I wouldn’t recruit the Hoppy’s household. Bethenny has issues. Why subject those kids to more dysfunction?
She seems to be a loving and devoted mother and if a second child is wanted there is nothing wrong with that.

Bethenny adores her daughter and by all means seems like a loving mother, any child would be lucky to be in the Hoppy house. She has “issues”, but who doesn’t? we all do, if everybody would expect to be perfect to be a parent, we wouldn’t have any kids around.
I still hope that she keeps trying to have another biological child, but being around her age, I get the fear of being at the end of the reproductive line so to speak.

I stopped watching her a while ago…I do not like the way she treats or talks to people.
If she and hubs want another, by all means they should. I still won’t watch the next season of her show, even though she might be “lost at sea.”
Bethenny is a great person. Some of you are so negative, your lives must be awful. Why waste your energy being jealous of her? She worked hard to get where she is.

@Frankie…she works hard at being a fame whore and a con artist. I don’t feel she is deserving of anything she has in life. There are other women I could think of who are a million times more worthy of deserving goodness. Just as Kim Kardashian, she has the most moronic fan base because anyone who takes advice or believes in this nutcase is nuttier than squirrel poop!
And believe me, jealousy is not even a remote feeling here. It’s just the disbelief that people in this world can put a talentless, dysfunctional hag on a pedestal. If she were really worthy of success, there would be very few negative comments said about her.
I like her on RHONY but I really liked watching Bethenny Getting Married and Ever After. I thought it was so heartwarming her story. Sometimes she can be little sharp but I think that’s just her personality and her humour, I don’t think it’s meant with any harm. Jason just seems so supportive. Lucky Bethenny!

Bethenny does not have five more years of child bearing. It’s a miracle that she got pregnant the first time. Women with eating disorders have a hard time getting pregnant. The more you starve yourself, the less fertile you become. They need to start looking to adopt.
my granny got preggers w/ my mom at the ripe old age of 48… not easy to get pregnant these days because of stress and possibly Bisphenol A (BPA)

Yeah, just buy a child that is really someone else’s and destroy the life of a mother and her infant; just because you want another baby. I used to like Bethanny. I was afraid she was going to pull this. So disappointing.
I will pray for you meaty people. I’m sure your lives have been messed up at some point. REMEMBER…you are only seeing what the news people want you to see. Who are you to judge? You might want to look into your own life and figure out what has made you so angry. Again I will keep praying for you. Obviously you are not Christians.
