The Real Housewives of New York City visited Miami this weekend as filming continues on their 5th season!
Ramona Singer and Sonja Morgan were pictured showing off their bikini bodies at their hotel. Above is a shot of Ramona, 54, as she donned a high-cut one piece.
Below are more shots of Ramona as well as Sonja, 48, who opted for a red bikini! Also pictured is new housewife Aviva Drescher. More bikini shots of the ladies are below!

Also over the weekend, Huffington Post gossip columnist Rob Shuter, who first broke the news about the RHONY firings back in September, revealed filming is NOT going well on the new season. Apparently there is a lack of drama and Bravo is expected to make some more casting changes! Ai ya ya.
Rob tweeted: “Sad to fear filming on #RHONY not going well. Ladies have travelled to London and Miami to spice it up. Expect more cast changes!”
Indeed, this Miami trip is the second for the housewives as they just took a trip to London not too long ago without Ramona. I can’t say I’m really surprised to hear this news as I stated back in September that getting rid of Jill Zarin was a bad idea. As much as I’m not a fan of Jill, she is equivalent to a Nene Leakes and makes for good TV drama.
I believe getting rid of Kelly Bensimon and Cindy Barshop, while leaving Jill and Alex McCord on the cast and adding 2 to 3 new cast members would have done the trick. While I definitely agree the last season and the reunion got overly nasty and downright ugly, I think Bravo’s firings were a bit too drastic.
Andy Cohen stated back then that the firings were simply giving fans what they wanted. “In the end we listened to the fans, who expressed a desire for new stories and a major change in a direction,” said Andy. But will the fans continue to tune in without enough drama is now the question.
The Huffington Post is also reporting today that Bravo has yet to ask any of the fired housewives to return though the network did discuss having Alex make appearances on the new season right after she was fired. However, Alex reveals she declined Bravo’s offer.
“Before filming began, Bravo and I discussed me making cameos throughout the fifth season,” Alex reveals. “Eventually, I decided against it. I didn’t want to be the backup if things didn’t work out with any of the new girls.” A bit surprised but good for Alex!

I do not like ANY of last season’s cast. Of all of them, it actually ended up being Kelly (of all people) who annoyed me least.
I am MOST glad that Bravo ditched Alex (and Simon). Alex was the worst of the bunch, IMO.
Disclaimer……I only watched this past season of RHONY (and 2 episodes the season before that), so I am basing my comments on that info only.

She doesnt look bad for her age. She looks better than Sonja who is younger. You can see the ripples where Sonja had her lipo… Time for a one piece for her.
It’s time for both Ramona and Sonja to stop wearing bikini’s. Sonja’s lip scars are horrendous and should be covered up with a one piece swimsuit. The last picture of Ramona is embarrassing! Granted it’s a bad angle, but it looks like her swimsuit is holding up a saggy pooch. Whether she likes it or not she belongs in a one piece Miracle Suit. Both women are very attractive for their ages but they need to accept that not everyone belongs in a two piece swimsuit.
Looks like they’re priming the viewers for the return of Jill Zarin…LOL. Get ready folks.

Good gawd almighty! I haven’t read the comments yet, but these 2 women are way too old to be wearing bathing suits from Forever 21! You may look good in clothes, but the shot showing Sonja’s stomach left me craving cottage cheese with pineapples! Like I said – you may look good clothed but gaaaaaaaaaaawd…..that’s the saddest 6 pack I’ve ever seen LOL!!! The side shot or Ramona looks like she is 4 months pregnant. Gross, buy more age approriate clothes.

ITA – I thought these shows were to showcase people with money and their money problems. If I wanted petty drama all I’d have to do is talk to some of the bitches I work with LOL!!!
These shows are not showing us how they live, they are showing us that even with money you can still be petty over very stupid things!

I think Sonja is a beautiful woman & I hate to be mean, but she really, really needs a one-piece. She would look fabulous in an appropriate one-piece (i.e., not the one Ramona is wearing, which isn’t appropriate either) but makes herself look ridiculous in a bikini.

I will no tune in. Ramona was my least fave and theyve gotten rid of the ones I liked. Ramona and Sonja are too old for bikinis and should cover up as evidenced by the pix. The new lady in the pic is hard on the eyes.

Funny that we can’t see the bikini pictures of the people posting above about how awful these middle aged mothers look in their swimwear. I think that people anonymously posting about people’s looks online at a reality housewife board are probably uglier than average and uglier than the subjects of their posts. Their thoughts and words certainly are.
Ramoron and Sonja were flawless in their swimsuits. Ramoron’s stomach was as flat as a board, while we all sighed with envy and awe at Sonja’s 6-pack abs.

I wish they would bring back everyone except Cindy and Kelly. The cuts were too drastic and Alex lent some balance. Kelly was always annoying. Alex can be annoying but she is basically nice and I felt sorry for the nasty way Jill and LuAnn treated her. Jill is a bitch but she does make for some good drama. At least bring back Alex! Cindy never seemed to click with this goup. I’m still so happy for Bethenny’s success!

I will not be watching this show anymore since they fired my favorites. Ramona is the one who should’ve been fired. Ramona & Sonja should NOT be wearing bikinis or anything showing their skin so much at their age. Beauties they are NOT although they tend to think they are. Really not a fan of seeing their flab & wrinkles or seeing Ramona’s buggy eyes & pinot. Whose bright idea at Bravo was it to fire everyone anyway & keep bug eyes on the show? Not a good move!

I think getting rid of those dreadful bitches was a great idea but Ramona should have got the boot with them as well! She is a C-U-Next-Tuesday. The most ridiculous storyline last season had to have been when she thought she was pregnant. Did she honestly think would people buy that?
