Following this season’s last week’s drama with Kim Richards on the Real Housewives of Beverly Hills, Kim’s sister Kyle Richards and her costar Lisa Vanderpump are now speaking out.
In her latest Bravo blog, Kyle opens up about her reasons for wanting to confront Kim about her habitual tardiness and behavior as well as touches on her feelings on Kim’s boyfriend Ken Blumenfeld. Below’s an excerpt from Kyle’s blog:
“The next day Kim finally arrived! At this point I was feeling that she had already missed a lot of the fun. I never saw her all day until dinner that night. When Kim and Ken showed up and acted like it was just any other day. I was beyond frustrated. I expected her to explain what happened (truthfully) and or apologize. It wasn’t like it was a secret. The entire group knew what was going on. Kim likes to brush things under the carpet. I like to put them on the table. The reason I need to do that with my sister is if we don’t address what is bothering us, it builds up and then our relationship becomes very passive aggressive — as you witnessed in Season 1. I wanted my sister to just be honest — not just about Hawaii but about everything. Mauricio has never had an argument with Kim before, but he has witnessed my hurt and frustration and felt compelled to say something.”
Kyle remarks about Ken issues:
“On our way to dinner that night we had barely spoken. She stayed near Ken and laughed with the girls but never mentioned the boat or barely seeing any of us on what was supposed to be Mauricio’s birthday party. At dinner, I could no longer pretend everything was OK. Ken wasn’t helping matters either. I didn’t trust him and felt he was not a positive influence on my sister. He knew I didn’t care for him and made sure I knew he felt the same about me. No love lost there. I was very worried about my sister and didn’t care what he thought about me.”
In her bravo blog, Lisa does’t hold back when she discusses Kim’s behavior in Hawaii:
“…Things were simmering and feelings were running high with regard to Kim’s strange behavior. Her stories didn’t tally up with the exasperating tales she had relayed to us. I was beginning to lose patience. After so many months of feeble excuses, it didn’t matter to me with whom she arrived or what paltry tale or trivial excuse was made. I didn’t want it to ruin our break. And I knew my input would have been irrelevant to her anyway.
Kyle and Mauricio were not content to accept her dismissive behavior and questioned her relentlessly at the dinner table. It was an uncomfortable scenario. I tried to support Kyle and urged her not to cry, as this was the birthday dinner and I knew it had great potential for disaster if tempers were unleashed. At what point do you come to the conclusion that some things never change? We had endured six months of a plethora of excuses, of no shows, of fabricated reasons. It was becoming a joke — just not a funny one.
So we left. And then I saw the footage of how they showed no remorse at keeping us waiting. They seemed content to indulge themselves in their own company with no thought for the fact that we were here as a group and at Mauricio’s invitation.”

In other RHOBH news, the Rumor Fix blog is reporting that on December 21, 2011, four months after Russell Armstrong’s tragic suicide, the IRS imposed a tax lien on his property for failure to pay $23,689.94 in back taxes.
Unfortunately for Taylor Armstrong, she will likely be responsible for this tax bill as she remains married to Russell and the lien on Russell’s property stays with his estate.
And finally, Camille Grammer’s ex-husband Kelsey Grammer is expecting twins with his former mistress new wife Kayte Walsh, 32! Kelsey, who won an award at last night’s Golden Globes Awards, reveals he is excited to be a father again.
“I’m really looking forward to meeting these new arrivals,” Kelsey, 56, told reporters last night. “Fatherhood’s always different, based upon the character that comes into your life. They arrive and tell you what you have to do.”
A new episode of the RHOBH airs tonight on Bravo! On the 19th episode this season titled ‘Night of a Thousand Surprises,’ drama flows when Lisa throws a launch party for her new lounge. Meanwhile, Kim discloses the truth about her new boyfriend.

It must irke her that farrah looks just like her father and nothing like her. In fact none of her children look like her, thank goodness for small favors… lol !

Hi cutie pie… I was thinking the same thing with the packing for one night thing.The other thing I noticed was the way she wanted her drink served to her by ken. I adore kim but ken isn’t a servant or on her payroll. If I had said to my husband all those things like charge my phone,glass with ice in it ect he would of said something to the effect of… NO by about the third or fourth request…lol!

“Re- INVENTING” herself is about right, because her whole life is an invention of her own making. Not one thing is “real”, everything is a lie, oh excuse me, “invention”, which resembles nothing like the truth.

So for two seasons we’ve watched Traylor dry cry, and now suddenly she can cry rivers of tears? WTF? Guess they can do wonders with eye surgery these days…
Adrienne Malloof was such a bitch last night when Taylor was trying to apologize. I understand her frustrations but she has lost all of my respect…she showed her true colors last night. What an evil woman. She was my favorite but she truly disgusted me on last night’s episode.
I will be honest I wont be watching next season if Taylor comes back. This woman sucks the life out of everything she comes in contact with. Who comes to an event with a therapist and wants to have a sit down. Had I been Lisa I would have told her the same thing she told the waitress, come back another day. I got personal satisfaction when Adrienne kept interrupting her. In my mind Adrienne was really saying “Bitch you mess with my money a fake black eye is going to be the least of your worrie.” On a sidenote if I had to hear Taylor say another fricking thing about the lid and the boiling pot or whatever analogy she was coming up with I was going to scream.
On to the original Lindsay Lohan, Kim, what was this chick on? I mean had I been Kyle I would have put her right back on the limo kicking and screaming. I’d rather people talk about me being a bitch then have my sister make a spectacle of herself in front of so many strangers. I don’t even know if I believe Ken is as awful as Kim makes him seem to be. i completely understand Kyle’s frustration with Kim though. While I get that Kim was the money maker in her youth dealing with an alcoholic for so many years after does take a toll. I believe she is coming from a place of love.
Why I love Lisa, let me count the ways. She was way too nice to Cedric to actually speak to him. Security would have escorted him and his date out without a single word from me. Loved how Ken stepped up.
All in all I loved the 1st season, I would love to have the petty Kyle/Camille feud back. this season is way too dark. This is while everyone thinks the Atlanta wives are ghetto and Nene is out of control with her ego at least it’s petty and amusing.

What a crock of crap last nights epi was. Why would ANY abuse victim choose a restaurant/bar grand opening to share her “news” with her friends? I mean doesn’t anyone but me find that highly ridiculous?
“Oh, I think I will bring my shrink as my date, and “apologize” to my friends, on camera, for calling them liars, and then I will confess to them the dark truth of my recent beating, and Lisa’s grand Opening would be the perfect, most sensible place to do all that!”

I happened to catch the tail end of WWHL. As for the poll: Kim had 39% and Taylor had 36%. I think Kyle was next with 15%. Cannot understand how Taylor didn’t win this poll by a landslide. IMO, no one is a bigger drama queen than Taylor.
Did anyone else notice that Adrienne’s earrings were so heavy they were actually pulling her ear lobe down. A very unflattering look, to say the least.

Idk, it seems weird seeing Taylor talking to the women, w/ her therapist as her *date* & supporter/referee, knowing Russell committed suicide. I think the relationship Taylor & Russell had was very toxic, & it was due to both. Poor Kennedy. I don’t mean to sound cruel…lol, but I was trying to read that entire hot pink chart that Taylor had made for Kennedy. The reward chart. My eyes focused in on the “no whining” part. I couldn’t help but think of all the whining Taylor has done. All the screaming, or putting down. I don’t believe Taylor was 100% innocent or Russell 100% guilty. I believe Taylor does lie about different things, & I believe Russell did, too. He had shady business dealings, & owed people. He also was into suing people at the drop of a dime. I will always have a difficult time in believing Taylor, acting like everything was Russell’s fault. I think she was quite capable of (emotional anyway) abuse herself. One huge insane mess.
Wth did Cedric show up at Lisa’s party?! That was nuts. Did he expect Lisa or Ken to welcome him with open arms?!
Kim has problems for sure. I have gone back to feeling sorry for her. She needs a lot of help. She isn’t going to get the type of help she needs from Kyle & definitely not from Ken. I think Kyle loves her sister, but is going the wrong way about certain things. I believe Kyle gets frustrated, but sheesh w/ harping on not getting an apology. Kim is so entangled in her own thoughts/problems. I thought Kim (for Kim) was trying to say she was sorry & w/ the white rose. Kyle was like wtf with this rose. Kim was actually sharing that she’s in a bad place right now & plans to move out since Ken is a control-freak. Ken is on her constantly. Ken always bothered me. He wants to know what’s she’s wearing. Wear this. Wear that. Wants her to hold his hand. No. Don’t do that. Do thins. Doesn’t believe her when she says she’s talking to her kids. Doesn’t want her to talk to her kids. He’s a controlling emotionally abusive man to me. If I were Kim, I wouldn’t waste a second breath talking about moving out, but do it. I’d get my relatives & friends around me, & help me move out. I hope she’s not pregnant. Like Kyle said, hope it’s menopause. Kim, you may rather have a puppy or kitten. Yes, and I think you wouldn’t make the best parent at all considering where you are right now with all of your problems. You don’t want to have a baby so you can travel?! Hmmm. Uh. Ok. Good enough reason…lol. Whatever reason you need..lol. A baby would tie you down. I say forget traveling, & get yourself into a longer rehab/recovery program.

Idk, but that reward chart seemed like it was more of a tool to help Taylor & not Kennedy as much. No whining?! Kennedy is going though a difficult time, & all Taylor is thinking about is great if she doesn’t whine or if she does all of her chores. A reward chart to keep Kennedy focused?! O-o-k-a-y. I rather not worry about worry about a reward chart as have my child in therapy talking about how the divorce is affecting her.

I am really souring on this whole franchise. I will repeat a comment I have made 100x’s before, the Housewives shows nowadays bear no resemblance to the original idea. Everything is so scripted, and sorry but if you bill yourself as a “reality” show, then BE a reality show, not some amped up, scripted pile of dog doo that can be seen on any given day on Lifetime.
Cedric showing up to that party was a total ploy by Bravo to bring the drama, and allow Lisa to appear to be this very polite “bouncer”, but telling him to leave. The Brandi conflict with that girl- Another ploy by Bravo to bring some drama. Taylor’s “confessional” at the party- TOTALLY staged and bloody ridiculous!
I would rather watch people grocery shop, buy clothes, decorate their houses, interact with their kids/spouses, ride a bike then watch these women “act” out a serious situation. The idea of this franchise was to show the lives of rich housewives, and in my mind, and in my memory, that is how the show began. Now it is just a soap opera with a cast of really poor actresses who use the show as a free infomercial for all of their crappy products that they sell to uber fans of the show. I would rather watch Ron Popeil and his Pocket Fisherman informercial over 60 minutes of the bs that this franchise has become!
Way to go Bravo! You have pretty much turned me off reality tv completely. I am down to watching Top Chef and Flipping Out now. My unread book pile thanks you as well, because less tv means more reading!
this episode was PAINFUL to watch. Kim has the maturity of a 12 year old girl. Kyle speaking to Kim was like a baby trying to catch a butterfly. Flyin’ HIGH Kimmy was ALL over the the place. I love the comments on here and wish it was like facebook and I could go through and LIKE them all. You guys are too much…..love the HATE for Taylor. Couldn’t believe that mess. Was Lovin’ Adrienne (hating the voice but lovin the words) and I say YES, camille is just being P.C. Painful!!!!!! G.B.M. Ken and that messy hotel room for only one day was TOO MUCH. The way Kim went running back to Kyle…..eeeeeeeerrrrrrrrrggggggghhhhh!!! painful.

@xyxyz..In the real world nobody in their right mind would put up with the kind of antics that shady has been able to get away with, so yes it is scripted to add the drama and a very bad drama at that.Bravo producers set the scene then lights camera action…something that is all to familiar with shady and the others just fall into place behind her.The really sick part is that bravo has made a profit off of shady and off russells suicide…pretty disgusting display of realism if you ask me.
How about Taylor and that ACT to the shrink she was putting on. Crying REAL tears for HIM. AND she was telling him she was scared to go and didn’t want to go to the party. Really laying it on to him, helpless little woman act. GRIFTER PLEASE YOU HAVE BEEN AT EVERY PARTY/EVENT ALL SEASON LONG WITH BELLS ON SCREAMING.(with Hawaill exception) . SAYING your peace, blabbing to the CAMERAS-don’t act like you weren’t dying to hold court again !
I see nothing wrong with Adrienne’s behavior. She had a right to be upset/frustrated which is what the doctor told Taylor she should be prepared for. It would have been fake for Adrienne to have said “no worries,” when clearly she and all the others had been worried about a lawsuit and also worried about Taylor. She just wanted Taylor to acknowledge their frustration before kissing and making up.
And I agree with everyone that says how weird it was to have that whole scene playout a the grand opening of SUR. That was so staged, which again makes me feel Adrienne’s behavior was fine. The whole thing seemed so orchestrated.
I think the best word that describes taylor is a sociopath. She has no morals or empathy for her victims. She manipulates people..knows what makes them tick and thanks to kyle who felt the need to disclose kims inner secrets or demons to her went in for the kill. She did the same thing with lisa…verbally attack her. It’s done usually in a group setting because to her if all else fails she could at least manipulate one person in the group…one is all it takes to get what she wants and the rest will follow like the good soldiers they are. Heaven forbid someone tries to call her out as we have seen with kim,camille and lisa…we all saw what happened to them when they tired! Kim got told to stop causing drama[really loud by taylor so the other ladies could hear and start gathering around]Lisa being called out for talking smack about her again in that group setting and camille got threatened with a lawsuit….anyone see the pattern here.
Taylor should really sign up to be a case study for sociopaths, of course they would have to take precautions such as not leaving her in the room alone with anyone..or .maybe watch her interact with someone behind a two way mirror. And of course in the end they would have to desensitize the victims…I mean students…Lol
And I am sooooo over Taylor telling all the women how she aspires to being strong, like they are! GMAFB! It is tiresome to constantly hear Taylor BEGGING those women to be her friends by always trying to compliment them, and give them the idea that she wants to be just like them.
That therapist creeped me out. He seems like some shady, off late night tv informercial huckster.
It disgusts me how Taylor has managed to have every one of those women forgive her for her behavior. I have known abused women, and was once in a rotten relationship myself, and all I can say, is when my friends and family were honest with me, I treated them with respect and love. I know my gf’s who have had abusive men, have never treated me or any of their friends as Taylor has. Forget Russell and the excuse “the devil made her do it”. In times of extreme misery you are grateful to anyone for a kind word, an offer of help, an honest answer or commentary. You do not treat people like Taylor did, yet she gets away with it, like she is the ONLY woman to ever have been abused! WELCOME TO REAL LIFE SWEETIE! It “ain’t” all $65k tea parties, lip injections and pizza nibbles at Villa Blanca!
The Psychiatrist wants to be the next Dr. Drew, Kim’s erratic behavior is due to some heavy drugs, not alcohol, I still don’t buy Taylor’s story, sorry. Who takes their shrink to a grand opening of a beautiful restaurant and then airs out their divorce/abuse at a table sit down? Let me tell you, not a woman who has really been physically abused. And who are we kidding, Cedric was invited to the opening by Bravo, he said that in an interview. Can’t stand Kyle, she should’ve gotten it for “most drama queen.” I’m so glad Adrienne and Camille didn’t let her off that easy. I really don’t think any of Taylor’s castmates believe her but they have to act sympathetic for the cameras. And finally, what the hell Mauricio (in WWHL), he said his least favorite housewife is Brandi? That girl is a hoot and fun to watch! Dana should’ve been his first choice. I think he only said her because that’s the one his wife feels more threatened by and secretly he’d like to jump in the sack with her!
Maurizio, the bug eyed bore, HAD to say that, otherwise Kyle wouldn’t put out next time.
My least favorite husband is Maurizio/cio. I hate him, and find him to be as fake as Taylor’s lips.
OMG, that episode was just too much. They showed the bouncers outside the SUR opening about ten times, but somehow Cedric just waltzes in. Why do you have bouncers if not to keep out people who are not invited? Obviously, it was staged by Bravo, which makes it just ridiculous. I hate to feel like I’m being played for a fool.
Next, what legitimate therapist goes out to a party with his recently divorced client like he’s her date? That was so inappropriate and unprofessional. By the way, every time they had his name on the screen, it showed his degree is D.O. which is doctor of osteopathy. He is not a real psychologist, psychiatrist or even marriage and family therapist. Why is she seeing this clown other than the guy is probably treating her for free in exchange for TV airtime. Gross. He really creeps me out.
As for Kim, she’s just a disaster. I guess she wasn’t really pregnant or we would have read about it in the news by now. Gee, did she ever think maybe her periods might start slowing down at 47 years old? It’s not uncommon for menopause to start at her age.
It’s sad to watch her spiral out of control right on national tv. I hope I don’t wake up one day to a tragic story about her on the internet, if you know what I mean. It doesn’t look good. I hope the rehab worked for her but I can’t imagine that 30 days was enough.
I still love Kim but it was so hard to watch her last night. I have been around people that do drugs and based on the bathroom scene, I would say that she is not doing Meth but crack. I have seen this behavior exhibited in crack users where the are coming the floor and carpet looking for just one more piece of rock they could have dropped, there is a slang for it but I don’t remember what it is. They will literally do this for hours, which is why Ken was getting so pissed. I don’t think she is using Meth because Meth users are extremely easy to spot, they do a lot of scratching, have scabs on most of their body (from the chemicals being exceted from through their skin which causes severe itching and picking at scabs). They also have rotting teeth, you don’t have to be using Meth for months or years for these signs to begin to show. I also believe she was using Xanax or opiates a along with the crack. I so hope she gets the helps she needs.
On another note, I have been meaning to post this from season one: Mauricio is so gross looking to me, he always looks so unhygenic – I don’t get how so many people think he’s so hot, but to each their own.

Kim has delayed production, missed work, when she is at work she either drunk and high, and then she has the nerves to
either ask Kyle for help who she treats like shiz.
Hawaii was not easy. They had many scenes planned but Kim ruined that as well.
The show had to spend a lot of money and manpower to make sure Kim made it to Hawaii.
Bravo probably paid for that hotel and hair person to be with Kim to make sure she made it to SUR.
I am sure if a Bravo minder wasn’t with her she would of not shown.
