It's been quite a roller coaster ride lately for Real Housewives of Beverly Hills' Brandi Glanville.  After being rushed to the hospital late last week, the reality star has been recovering at home presumably with her new bestie Lisa Vanderpump by her side.

The scariest part of the ordeal is that doctors still don't know what is wrong with Brandi.  After suffering from chest pains and finding a benign lump under her arm, there is still no diagnosis for the brash mother of two.  While the hospital trip doesn't seem to be slowing Brandi down–she's still going to be on Watch What Happens Live tonight–it still has to be unnerving to have such a health scare.

A friend of Brandi's tells Radar Online, "She found a weird lump under her arm, which turned out not to be cancer, but doctors still couldn't figure out what's wrong with her. She's home now, but she's sick," recalling, "Brandi was feeling nauseous all day and was having weird chest pains so an ambulance was called and she was taken to the hospital."

Of Brandi's current state of mind, the insider says, "Of course Brandi is scared. Any sort of medical scare is going to be scary, especially when you can't figure out what's wrong. We're all very concerned."

Thankfully for her many Twitter followers, her illness hasn't caused Brandi to lose her sense of humor…or her ability to tweet every five minutes.  She kept fans up-to-date about her flight to New York for WWHL, urging people to ask her whatever questions they wanted before her Xanax started working.  Before she left, she wrote, "Packed4 NYC in 30 mins no idea what I brought!Hope I have time 2 buy a sexy dress 4 my boyfriend (yes we are sleeping together 2)."  Perhaps her Xanax kicked in while she was typing…

Well, if you watch RHOBH you know that Brandi is nothing if not honest.  She recently gave a very candid interview to the New York Post in which she discussed her financial struggles, her on-going battle with ex-husband Eddie Cibrian over their sons, and LeAnn Rimes' Twitter lawsuit.  It's actually very refreshing.

Brandi reveals that when Eddie left her for LeAnn three years ago, she was nearly broke with no credit, saying, “I was a 36-year-old woman who couldn’t lease a car and couldn’t lease a house. For 13 years, my name wasn’t on one account. I am still building my credit.”

She claims that she didn't get much money in her divorce either.  Brandi admits, “We were living way above our means in a 10,000-square-foot house. There wasn’t a lot to get, honestly.”

Now Brandi is renting a home in San Fernando Valley, but it's nothing compared to lavish mansions of her cast mates.  She tells the Post, “I had to pay the whole year in advance. I had to get my daddy to co-sign.”

While the Bravo paycheck is helping her get back on her feet, Brandi is still fighting with her ex over their sons not appearing this season.  She explains, “The kids are not on the show this year, but my lawyer is working on it. When I am working I don’t get to see my children, and that is not OK with me. “

Brandi has tried to make amends with both Eddie and LeAnn, although she believes it's easier said than done.  Due to the Twitter lawsuit, she is no longer on speaking terms with LeAnn.  She says, “I want the lawsuit to go away. It is not going to end up good for anyone. I want LeAnn to be fine. And to be happy. Just take my husband and go away.”

In the meantime, Brandi is just hoping that the show will lead to bigger and better things.  She admits, “I am treating this show as a platform and a window. If it is gone tomorrow, I made the most of it. I joke that I whore myself out to anyone that will pay me. But that is kind of what is happening.”  She certainly calls it like she sees it!

A new episode of Real Housewives of Beverly Hills airs tonight at 9PM ET on Bravo.  Watch a preview clip below!
