Alexis Bellino Returned To Real Housewives Of Orange County So The “Bullies” Wouldn’t Win

Bravo's original housewives franchise is back in full force, and the women of the O.C. are going to bring the drama without question.  After saying she wouldn't be returning for this season, Alexis Bellino is back with a vengeance to confront her "bullies."  I was convinced that she'd actually been fired, and was just saying she'd quit to save face.  Even her husband Jim "the Chin" Bellino was vocal about how much he didn't want his wife on Real Housewives of Orange County

Now that she's back, Alexis claims she didn't want her kids to think she succumbed to bullies.  While I don't agree with how the ladies ganged up on Alexis last season, she needs to quit it with the bully talk.  She's a woman who gets paid to be on a show that perpetuates drama.  It irks me that Alexis keeps saying she was the victim of bullying because I think it takes away from people who are actually bullied.  Let's be honest, Alexis loves being on television, plain and simple.

Speaking to Wet Paint, Alexis explains, “When Bravo reached out to me and asked me to reconsider, I took a step back and thought about it.  Do I really want my children to think that mommy quit her career or that mommy let those bullies win? No. I’m going to go back and fight and make my statement. If I’m going to go down, I’m going to go down fighting.”  Seriously?  These ladies just shop, travel, drink, and talk smack…it's hardly call the show in and of itself a "career."

Singing Jim's praises, Alexis reveals that it wasn't hard to tell her husband that she'd changed her tune about RHOC.  She shares, “It wasn’t hard at all, actually.  He is so supportive. And the one thing my husband does, he hears me out, he listens to what I say. He gives me advice but at the end of the day, he agreed with me it was a good idea to go back.”

Don't expect her to tuck her tail and run mid-way through either.  When asked if she would be appearing throughout season eight, Alexis responds, “Full season, yes–I’m back!”

It should be interesting to see how Alexis interacts with her former bestie Gretchen Rossi.  In a Twitter conversation with a follower, Gretchen admits that she's better off without the friendship.  She tweeted, "took me almost 3 yrs too realize [it was a difficult friendship] but once I did I was glad I did. Didn't realize how draining it was really till it was gone."

Also tweeting recently is co-star Heather Dubrow who posted the below picture with her and Real Housewives of Beverly Hills' Kyle Richards.  The pair was hanging out while filming an upcoming Summer by Bravo commercial.
