With federal investigators reportedly still digging up dirt on Apollo Nida's accomplices, a judge has granted his request to delay his fraud trial. Lucky, ducky now he has more time to make club appearances before heading to the slammer

In court documents filed on February 10th the Real Housewives of Atlanta star asked permission to delay his trial until March. Apollo was to begin his trial this month, but he is seeking more time to go over the prosecution's case against him and likely decide whether or not he wants to accept a plea deal. The Judge granted his request.

"The Court finds that the ends of justice served by granting the motion to continue outweighs the public’s and defendant’s interest in a speedy trial," the Judge's approval states as obtained by Radar Online. "Specifically, this delay will allow the parties time necessary to discuss a resolution of the allegations.”

Phaedra Parks has not been charged in any capacity with Apollo's schemes. The couple is reportedly separated in light of Apollo's indictment. Apollo spent Valentine's Day partying in South Carolina while Phaedra was in Louisiana at a book signing.

Rumor has it Phaedra won't file for divorce because she does not want to be forced to testify against Apollo for the sake of their sons, although she plans to once everything is over and done with. In addition to the federal charges against him, Apollo has been the subject of many cheating rumors!
