Tori Spelling Hopes To ‘Humiliate’ Dean McDermott On ‘True Tori’

The Helping Hand Of Los Angeles Annual Mother's Day Luncheon

Let's say your husband cheated on you and you had the opportunity to humiliate him on national TV. You would do it, right? Well that is just what Tori Spelling plans to do on her new Lifetime show True Tori. At least according to insiders, who claim that she is looking to 'humiliate' her husband Dean McDermott for his extramarital affair.

In December, the story broke that McDermott had cheated on his wife of seven years with 28-year-old Emily Goodhand. Looking to repair the damage, McDermott checked into rehab for "health and personal issues". But the damage had already been done and the future for the reality stars seems pretty bleak.

True Tori is a six episode docu-drama — what happened to just reality show? — surrounding the couple as they try to repair their marriage. Or at least Dean seems like he is trying to mend what he broke. Tori just seems humiliated and pissed off. And according to a Spelling source, who spoke with PEOPLE magazine, that is exactly what she is.

“The decision to do this show is not coming from someone who is in a solid, good place. Tori is very, very upset and angry," The source added that, “a part of [Spelling] wants to completely humiliate him and make him suffer in front of millions of people. She wants to have some sort of justice. She wants him to truly feel the pain of what he did to her.”

Dean McDermott claims that he has a sex addiction. Seriously? No one believed Tiger Woods, and no one believes you, Dean. But that is the avenue he is taking to repair his wife and his reputation. The idea to do the show and air their dirty laundry was apparently "all Tori's idea", according to the source. They also added that "“She’s in a total crisis mode. If she can believe that his addiction has nothing to do with her, then maybe they can move on. But there’s no way Dean wants to be humiliated on television for cheating on his wife. His life is basically a nightmare.”

Here is my question? Why does she not just dump him? I know that they have four children, but she would be better off hiring help than having a philandering, liar of a man. Is he really helping that much if he is off with other women??

I for one cannot wait to see what happens on True Tori. I am pretty sure it will be like watching a train wreck in slow motion.
