The True Tori Preview Shows A Sobbing Tori Spelling In Counseling With Dean McDermott

Tori Spelling films at 'Extra'

I'm no marriage counselor, but I'd imagine the best thing to do in the wake of your husband's very public cheating scandal would be to film a reality show about trying to make your relationship work. Tori Spelling agrees, which is why her latest reality show with husband Dean McDermott focuses on their marital strife.

True Tori premieres April 22nd on Lifetime, and the teaser is extremely dramatic…to put it mildly. Call me old-fashioned, but I prefer my Dean and Tori in heavily-scripted situations involving guncles and bed and breakfast endeavors. This is just too raw…at least that's what I gathered from the thirty second clip!

Us Weekly has the details on the couple's upcoming show, and it seems entirely centered around the two picking up the pieces after Dean's affair that appeared on the cover of every tabloid imaginable. In the preview, Tori is sobbing, claiming that she can never satisfy Dean sexually and implies she'll always be worried he'll look elsewhere. She cries, "I can never give him enough sex! He's never gonna be happy with just me."

Dean admits that his desire for sex is not unlike an addiction to drugs or alcohol (hence his recent rehab stint), but he assures his wife that he's the one who is happy to have her, not the other way around. Um, you think, Dean?

A source tells the magazine of the six-episode docu-drama (is that what they're calling it these days?), "Tori will be talking about what she's been through. Dean will appear, but it's really her story."

Another insider reveals that viewers shouldn't hope for any closure with the pair's current situation, sharing, "The show likely won't conclude with a decision about her marriage. Things are very much in flux."
