Bethenny Frankel

Not so fast! Just when we thought things we getting down right amicable between Bethenny Frankel and her soon-to-be ex-husband Jason Hoppy, the feuding twosome come to blows once again.

This time it is not over custody of their daughter Bryn, but instead it is over Bethenny’s millions. The former Real Housewives of New York star was spotted leaving a Manhattan Supreme Court, where she is apparently still fighting with Hoppy because she does not want to split her reported $55 million fortune.

According to sources, who spoke with enstarz.com, the couple and their lawyers are still locking horns trying to iron out just how to divide the couples assets. Most of Bethenny’s fortune came from the sale of Skinnygirl cocktails in 2011, while the couple was married. The couple even worked together on Skinnygirl before their relationship hit the rocks and it was all documented on their reality show Bethenny Ever After?

Since Jason helped her build the brand, I can only assume he feels entitled to a cut of the cash, and I can only imagine most judges would feel the same. So the squabble must not be about splitting the money, it must be about how to split the money. You would think that Bethenny would want to get all of this worked out. The longer this goes on, the more the lawyers charge, and Bethenny has already been ordered once to fork over $100,000 to Jason’s lawyers.

Let’s hope these two can get this worked out and move on. I think it is great that they have worked out a custody agreement, but it cannot be good for Bryn that her parents continue to battle it out in court.

C’mon guys. Let’s work this out. Then maybe Bethenny can return to her roots on the Real Housewives of New York and save the ratings-challenged show!!

TELL US! DO YOU THINK BETHENNY SHOULD HAVE TO SHARE HER FORTUNE WITH JASON?
