I started watching the Real Housewives because I was fascinated by wealthy women living lifestyles that I could never possibly attain. Weirdly enough, I actually find myself relating to a lot of the cast members in regard to many aspects. Sure, I will never be a rich and famous reality star, but I do find myself agreeing with a lot of the comments that the women make. More often than that I have a “that’s so me” feeling when I’m watching these shows.

Yes, I know that I would never be able to pay thousands of dollars for a spin class to benefit a charity like RHOBH ladies did this past season. I also don’t have my own fitness studio to work out in like Tamra Judge does on RHOC. But I do have something in common with these women: the difficulty to stay fit. I’m not throwing shade and saying that they don’t look amazing – because they honestly all do – but just like myself, they have also complained about dieting and fitness pretty often. There have been a lot of times when the women from Real Housewives have understood the struggle to get in shape.

So the next time you can’t drag yourself to the gym or you cheat on a diet, just remember that you are not the only one. You can even say that you are just “channeling your inner Real Housewife” if you want to. Don’t beat yourself up if you can’t bring yourself to be 100% dedicated to health and fitness. There have been a lot of times when your favorite Real Housewives have expressed the same thoughts that you’ve had pretty often.
