Sheree tells Bob about her book

Sheree Whitfield Surprised By The Demise Of Kandi Burruss And Phaedra Parks’ Friendship And The Kandi/Shamea Rumor

This Real Housewives of Atlanta season does not disappoint – other than the repetitive rivalry between Chateau Sheree and Moore Manor. I cannot believe all the skeletons coming out of the closet now that Phaedra Parks and Kandi Burruss put the final nail in the coffin of their friendship. The most random accusation so far is that Kandi hooked up with Porsha Williams’s BFF Shamea Morton. And one person who is not actually involved, but is somehow in the middle of all these discussions, is Sheree Whitfield. So of course, she has an opinion.

I love how the RHOA editors subtly alluded to these Kandi/Shamea lesbian rumors by randomly showing us a segment of Kandi’s employee talking about a Bedroom Kandi sex toy for lesbian couples. I cannot be the only one who picked up on this? Since when does the show highlight Kandi’s products – aside from when she self promotes? But anyway, thankfully we had Sheree around to stir the pot and let Phaedra and Kandi know what they were saying about each other.

I was truthfully surprised by the slow fall-out between Phaedra and Kandi. I’m not shocked that they aren’t friends anymore, but I was expecting it to be more messy instead of so “unspoken.” Well, I got my wish with the last RHOA episode and thanks to Sheree, all of the tea was spilled.

In an interview with Bravo, Shereee was asked about the demise of Kandi and Phaedra’s relationship. She admitted, “I have to say that I was a bit surprised at some of the things that were said! I’ve known both Kandi and Phaedra for years, so it is just a sad situation to see a genuine friendship end like this.”

Sheree added, “I think the demise of the friendship has definitely caused feelings to intensify, so both ladies are definitely reacting to what they are feeling as they process this ‘break-up.'” As sad as it is to see BFFs breakup, it is making for some wild TV.

Speaking of which, I would love to know what Sheree was thinking when Phaedra accused Kandi and Shamea of getting together. Sheree admitted, “Now that was very surprising, and it was definitely even more surprising to hear Porsha allude to it after our lunch with Kandi.”

That last part is really what killed me too! Shamea had the designation of being “Porsha’s best friend” and served as her sidekick for all of her random adventures like that weird fertility egg yoga class. That was some super shady shit, Porsha. Some best friend, you are not standing up for your girl like that. Clearly Porsha‘s loyalties lie with Phaedra.

Sheree defended her shit stirring with this diplomatic statement: “Overall, because I am cool with all parties involved, all I can do is try to help and bring this conflict to the forefront and hope that, as women, we can have a healthy discussion and resolve our issues in a mature way.”

I find it hard to believe that Sheree was solely acting with the intent to mediate conflict, but it made great TV so I was all for it.

Sheree further explained, “If someone was saying something about me, I would want for my friend to be honest and direct with me and sit me down with the individual who said it. This way everything is out in the open and there is not he-said, she-said involved. However with this group of girls, things always seem to go left. You would think I would know this by now!”

Well, yeah. These are not the most rational people when it comes to conflict resolution. If  they were, then they would never be cast for this show.

TELL US – DO YOU THINK KANDI & SHAMEA HOOKED UP? WAS SHEREE MEDIATING CONFLICT OR STIRRING THE POT? WAS PORSHA A BAD FRIEND WHEN SHE DIDN’T STICK UP FOR SHAMEA?
