Real Housewives of Potomac Season 2

Real Housewives Of Potomac Season 2 Premieres April 2 – Check Out The Trailer

I wasn’t impressed with Season 1 of Real Housewives of Potomac. I never became invested in the cast members and nothing really happened. Season 1 felt like a Real Housewives parody at best, but the trailer for Real Housewives of Potomac Season 2 has me feeling optimistic. I am pumped for its return on April 2.

But this new season looks GOOD. There was so much going on in the preview, I watched it three times. The housewives were not holding back when they filmed this one. I hope that Season 2 comes through for me. I have hope based on what I’ve seen so far.

All of the original ladies are back, minus Katie Rost, which is fine with me because I felt awkward watching her try to make that relationship work.

But the RHOP Season 2 trailer is juicy.

It looks like the self-appointed etiquette queen and Tina Knowles look-alike Karen Huger is going to have to fight for her thrown with the ladies throwing out accusations that she doesn’t actually live in Potomac anymore (not that most of these women actually live in the city from the show’s title anyway) and that she “rented a house overnight.” It’s very clear that they are implying a #TotalRealHousewifeMove of faking a financial situation. I don’t know why that always happens, but it does and it never works out. Do NOT go on reality TV if you plan to lie. It NEVER works out.

Gizelle Bryant was shown going on a bunch of dates like she did last season with men that she clearly has no interest in. I don’t really care about that, but she is clearly out to read Karen to filth and that is something I do care about.

Ashley Darby and her husband seem to be at odds over their new restaurant – which is a Real Housewives story line that we’ve also seen before, but that can still be pretty interesting.

Robyn Dixon still seems caught up in her non-relationship with her live-in ex husband and it seems like he might have a side piece. Obviously this won’t go over well.

Charrisse Jackson-Jordan is somehow still dealing with her relationship drama. Her husband never appeared last season so I figured she would just close the book on that one and start bragging about being an independent woman on Season 2, but apparently she’s still sorting through this one. Ugh.

The new girl Monique Samuels seems dope though. She appears to actually be in a happy marriage and does not seem to be fronting about her finances. Plus, it’s clear that this woman can read and throw shade like the vets, much to Gizelle’s dismay.

This looks a million times better than the first season and I’m so ready for it.
