Cynthia Bailey, like the rest of us, is shocked and surprised by the allegations that Porsha Williams made against co-star and former friend Kandi Burruss.
What started as a drunken lesbian encounter between two friends, turned into a dramatic cesspool of nastiness on Real Housewives Of Atlanta. “I can understand why Kandi was so hurt and emotional. These ladies were once good friends, and things just went way too far,” says an appalled Cynthia. “These are serious allegations, and regardless of whether or not they are true, this stuff lives on social media and the Internet forever.”

Well despite all the terrible things said, Kandi still chose to permit Porsha to attend the trip to Maui where, naturally, things got even worse! Talk about ruining beautiful beaches…

Things were so awful, Cynthia was actually relieved ex-husband Peter Thomas was there. Cynthia admits in her Bravo blog that it was obviously “a little weird at first” to be on a couples vacation with her not-quite-ex, but nothing was weirder than what happened between Porsha and Kandi! “I really enjoyed hanging out with him as friends. It felt like old times, and we actually spent a lot of time together. He was very respectful of our situation and handled himself with class.”
When Peter is setting the good example, you know things are bad… Really bad! Like lesbian drugging accusations over cocktails. “The dinner was very tough to sit through,” Cynthia acknowledges, “and of course I just happened to be seated between Porsha and Kandi, so it was even more uncomfortable for me.”
Cynthia, who is resolutely Team Kandi, says, “Kandi was extremely emotional and very upset. It made me sad to see her crying.”

And of course Cynthia had bigger concerns: “I just kept praying that things would not get physical. I did not want to be in the middle of a physical altercation once again.” Seriously – third time’s a charm?!
Well tonight the drama in Hawaii continues. Honestly this may be the worst HW trip in history! After the arguing at dinner, Kandi plans a boating outing and doesn’t include Porsha. Unfortunately Sheree and Bob begin arguing when they confront issues from their painful past. At least it manages – in part – to bond Kenya and Sheree! However briefly.
Phaedra Parks is determined to defend Porsha, which puts her in the cross-hairs with Kandi who grills Phaedra about cheating on Apollo. Phaedra is still determined to try and mend the group with a “restoration service,” but it may be too late. And it also may be too late for Bob to get another chance with Sheree! Tune in at 8/7 CST!
