The whole country was saddened by the news of the mass shooting in Las Vegas at the Jason Aldean concert last night. With such a high death toll, there are so many people that were friends and families of the victims.
Real Housewives of Orange County cast member Meghan Edmonds came close to being one of those people when her step daughter Hayley was 0ne of the fans at the Jason Aldean concert during the shooting. Thankfully Hayley is safe and sound, but Meghan and Jim Edmonds came very close to experiencing the loss that fifty plus families have as a result of that act of horrific violence.
Meghan revealed that Hayley was at the deadly concert in an Instagram post. At first glance, it looked like Meghan was posting similar sentiments that most of us have in the wake of this tragedy. She wrote, “So many prayers to those who were murdered or injured in this senseless, tragic act.”
Then Meghan shared how personal the incident was for her: “We give all our thanks to God for keeping Hayley safe and Lauren’s in-laws/our friends safe. That dreaded and terrifying phone call from Hayley last night turned out ok. She was at the Jason Aldean concert and fled for safety along with many, many others, some who were not so lucky. Our hearts are heavy with so many questions and thankful that God kept our family safe.”
Luckily Meghan and Jim got a phone call from Hayley to know that she was safe and sound. Nevertheless, many people did not have a similar experience.
