In a recent interview, she attributes her success, in part, to the sage advice of wildly popular talk show host Ellen DeGeneres. Some might recall that Bethenny visited Ellen on her talk show back in the day when Bethenny Ever After was filming and then helped Bethenny get her own talk show off the ground. At the time, Bethenny’s own (now failed) talk show was poised to go live, and the advice Ellen gave her then was, as I recall, to “just be herself.” Unfortunately, this advice didn’t work out so well for Bethenny in the end.
After spending the day shilling Skinnygirl for Business Woman’s Day (photo below), Bethenny was out to dinner with Carole Radiwill and her walking manbun, Adam, when she suddenly had to flee before the entrees arrived!
Bethenny, Jules, and Kelly Bensimon and were among the New Yorkers who celebrated “The Stanton Social‘s 10+1 Anniversary” in New York City on Tuesday night.
Earlier in the week Bethenny and Jules were both photographed at the Beauty & the Beast 25th Anniversary Screening at Alice Tully Hall, Lincoln Center.
And last night Bethenny and Luann de Lessepswere photographed attending National Geographic’s “Years Of Living Dangerously” New Season World Premiere at The American Museum of Natural History. Check out all the pics in the gallery.
I feel like such a bad person for saying this, but I was really living for the feud between Bethenny Frankel and Luann de Lesseps during the last Real Housewives of New York season. I feel a little guilty being so entertained by the tough times in people’s lives, but then again that is the whole purpose of them being on a reality show.
Although Bethenny can be super harsh, I still think it’s strange that Luann is so mad at Bethenny for letting her know that husband-to-be Tom D’Agostino was making out with another women just a week after they got engaged. So obviously, Bethenny is not getting invited to that wedding, not that she would want to go anyway.
As much as I love her, I never know if Sonja Morgan’s projects are ever going to come to fruition. But now my favorite (aspiring) Real Housewives entrepreneur is going to be in actress in a play. I’m all about this and in all honesty I want to get tickets.
The Real Housewives of New York star will make her debut on the stage in an off-Broadway play called Sex Tips for Straight Women from a Gay Man. Solely based on the title, this just sounds like the perfect play for my girl Sonja. I have a feeling that this plays perfectly into her persona and that she’s going to kill it- and if she doesn’t kill it, she’s sure to entertain no matter how well she acts.
Sure, I can get why hugging a bunch of people you just argued with could be like putting a band-aid on a broken limb, but it is step in a positive direction. So I can’t help wondering why Bethenny wasn’t down for the group hug. In a #TotalBethennyMove, the Skinnygirl defended her decision to abstain from the group hug.
Everyone was so caught up in shooting the messenger that pretty much no one condemned the cheater himself. Luann even went so far as to blame herself for getting in a fight with Tom the night that he strayed. It was painful to see her disrespect herself in that way. And now Bethenny and Ramona Singer are calling Luann out on social media.
