Gracious, everyone is an author these days! VH1's favorite caricature Big Ang is on a book tour to promote her new memoir Bigger Is Better. I hear the forward was written by Kilo. I kid, I kid. I adore Ang!
Big Ang was recently interviewed about the new book on the fourteenth fourth hour of the TODAY Show. Admittedly, I didn't give up this hour for two reasons. First, Kathie Lee Gifford drinking a fishbowl full of white wine spritzers at ten in morning doesn't really scream "journalistic integrity" so I can pretend it's not part of the original morning show, and two, everyone-and I mean EVERYONE-needs some Hoda Lee Kotb in their lives.
It’s not a great time to be Renee Graziano! The Mob Wives star has witnessed her father going back to prison thanks to her ex-husband, and now she’s facing quite a hefty lawsuit. Nope, it’s not a good day to be Renee…
As you all know, Renee was hoping to reconcile with her ex Hector “Junior” Pagan, but he was only getting close to her so that he get even closer to her father…while wearing a wire. Now, Renee’s father Anthony Graziano has been sentenced to nineteen months for receiving illegal debts. In true Graziano fashion, he was cracking jokes and laughing during sentencing, causing both the judge and his wife to scold him.
I hope the following news doesn’t cause Mob Wives’Renee Graziano another epic meltdown. It seems that her ex-husband Junior Pagan has gotten really good at turning on his mobster friends. It shouldn’t be too hard to do, considering he’s had practice ratting out his father-in-law!
The NY Daily News reports that Junior has now snitched on two men, Richard Riccardi and Luigi Grasso, who were his accomplices during a robber which ended in a fatal shooting. Junior testified that Riccardi supplied him with guns and Grasso accompanied him to rob a man who was an associate of a rival family. When the man resisted, Junior shot him in the leg, causing the man to bleed to death. The Junior and his cohorts made off with over $10,000.
Renee Graziano just can’t catch a break! The Mob Wives star returned home from Atlantic City following a fourth of July/pre-birthday bash weekend to discover that her Staten Island home had been robbed.
Who is going to steal from a mafia princess? C’mon now people?! Renee’s home was allegedly ransacked and the police were called to the scene immediately according to TMZ. They took fingerprints and the investigation is ongoing.
I wonder what got thieved. Poor Renee… she’s had a tough few months.
WHY DO YOU THINK RENEE GOT ROBBED? WHAT DO YOU THINK THEY WERE LOOKING FOR?
VH1 dropped the supertrailer for Big Ang’s first season and it looks like it’s going to be a wild, wild ride filled with a whole lot of partying and drinking and some crazy sidekicks. Ang’s larger-than-life personality may be just enough to make this spin-off a hit. Take a look and tell us what you think so far.

“Innnnnn West Philadelphia, born and raised, with the Mob Wives is how I spent most of my days…” Wait what? Mob Wives…Philadelphia? Isn’t enough, enough? Unless Will Smith wants to be a part of this new franchise, I think I’m done with any and all things mob related…at least where reality TV is concerned. I may be out of luck as the New York Daily News is reporting that Alicia DiMichele of South Jersey has been approached about starring in a Mob Wives spin-off set in Philadelphia.
Alicia is married to gangster Edward Graofalo who has ties to the Colombo crime family. She even has a federal conviction herself. Legit! She lives fifteen minutes outside of downtown Philly, raising the couple’s three kids while her husband serves his time in federal prison. Her lawyer reveals,“Alicia DiMichele has been contacted by a number of media outlets. She is focused on taking care of her children and keeping her family together.”
I have to say that mob life as I always pictured isn’t quite as mob-esque as what I gather from VH1. Let me break it down for you…today’s Mob Wives‘ news revolves around a rap video and contract dispute. Not very Tony Soprano if you ask me.
It seems that Mob Wives Chicago stars Nora Schweihs and Renee FecarottaRusso have a lot to learn about the entertainment industry. According to the Chicago Sun-Times, both are being sued by their manager Nick Celozzi, Jr. He claims that he entered into management contracts with both women, and his talent company was able to land them a place at the Mob Wives Chicago casting call. According to the two year contracts which were signed in December, both women agreed to pay him fifteen percent per episode of their VH1 paycheck. With the women scoring $6,000 per show, Nick is entitled to $900 per show from each woman.
History is repeating itself for Big Ang of Mob Wives. The New York Post is reporting that her son A.J. D’Onofrio was arrested for allegedly pushing painkillers, marijuana, and cocaine. The twenty-three-year old was indicted as part of five-person narcotics ring. The dealer who introduced undercover officers to A.J. and the other men who were arrested had been working with police for months. I guess this isn’t the last we’ll be hearing about rats!
A.J. was charged with criminal sale of a controlled substance, criminal possession of a controlled substance and conspiracy according to a source. The source adds that this isn’t A.J.’s first run in with the law either. He has pleaded guilty to DWI, was accused of hitting a man with a pipe, and has other prior drug arrests.
Just today a Brooklyn judge ordered AJ to be held on $200,000 bond for his alleged offenses. AJ pleaded not-guilty to the charges. His mom the infamous Big Ang was not present in court today.
“This was a long-term investigation,” assistant district attorney Timothy Gearon told the NY Post. “Over 700 oxycodone pills were sold and the price of that was close to $14,000.” A video of the news report covering the incident is below.
All should be fine if A.J.’s Twitter is correct though. He writes, “i run my hood im the boss of all bosses and all u haters can keep hating slime” And there you have it!
