Even better, Patti Stanger will be moving her company to New York City, where she will be filming the fourth season. The show has proved to be a hit for Bravo as the ratings for the third season, currently airing on Bravo, have been the highest ever for the series.
The fourth season will reportedly feature Patti planning her own wedding to fiance Andy Friedman, all while attempting to run her business in NYC. The first three seasons were filmed in Los Angeles.
Jill’s new pal and host of Bravo’s Millionaire Matchmaker, Patti Stanger, took to her twitter page to bash Bethenny on behalf of Jill (Are these ladies in elementary high school?).
“My BFF Jill Zarin is getting the shaft on NYC Housewives bc of a dark haired loser! Why is everyone on Team Bethany (sic)? Any cow can give birth,” Stanger recently posted.
The question is why the hatred for Bethenny? Well, the NYDailyNews believes that Patti’s hostility stems from when Bethenny allegedly snubbed her at the season two premiere party of “Real Housewives” last year. Apparently Patti is still holding a grudge.
“Bethenny was seen as the most popular of the housewives then, and apparently she didn’t feel like she needed to give Patti the time of day,” a source close to the show says. On the other hand, Patti and Jill have become good friends in the recent years.
According to Bravo, the show averaged 1.10 million viewers, which is the highest rated premier for the show and also a 37% increase from the second season’s premier episode.
In a new interview with People, Patti, 48, opens up about her new engagement, what to expect in this 3rd season and also dishes out some love advice for celebrities such as Jessica Simpson and Jennifer Aniston.
Give us a rundown on what to expect this season.
There are a lot more practical tips and information that everyone can use. We don’t just want to be reality TV that’s funny [and] then you turn us off. We don’t want to be Jersey Shore. Everyone is single right now. You can be 18 or 80 and you can be single, and nobody’s teaching anyone how to maneuver the waters online [or] with text messaging. … The other thing is we pumped up the volume on the gay dating. It was a really huge success story for us. Also, [Jason Davis] Gummi Bear is on. I know he just went to rehab and I had a real problem with him. He wouldn’t listen to me. He was crazy and off the wall — and I tried to get him to quit smoking. I call him Huggy Bear.
What’s the biggest difference between millionaires and the millionairesses you work with?
There’s the angry guy who’s made all this money and still can’t get the cheerleader he didn’t get in high school. But when it comes to women, they wake up at 40, their eggs are dried up and they’re like, “What the eff?” And then they start to [share] all their frustration and resentment — and I don’t have time for it because I’ve got to work. They’re high maintenance. Like, Tiger Woods, a perfect example — if he joined my service he would never want any of his exes or his wife to know his dirty laundry even if he was getting a divorce. Women want everyone to know they’ve been wronged.
You recently got engaged. How’s everything going with your fiancé, Andy Friedman?
He’s my best friend. We’re not tabloid whores. You don’t see us on the red carpet. We go to the mall. We have family that live in Westlake Village — which is like suburbia. We eat ice cream on the weekends and go see Avatar. I know [that] I live in a millionaire world by day, but [at] night, I’m Stepford. I cook. It’s kind of weird because I’m not what you think I am. If I were not a matchmaker, I’d be a chef.
Let’s talk about celebs. What tips do you have for Jessica Simpson in terms of finding love this year?
I really love Jessica. I wish she had met Nick Lachey after 30 — and I think they would have lasted. I think they met way too young and had too much too soon. [I wish] Jessica would take her time and really qualify people instead of jumping into relationships so quickly. She’s got to stop it. You know the way she does a business deal — where her father assesses all the situations before he signs his name on the dotted line? She needs to do the same thing with men — and not give her heart away so quick. She’s misunderstood.
And, finally, what about John Mayer?
John Mayer — he needs to own up to his mistakes because karma’s a bitch, baby. Let me tell you something. He’ll be one of those 45-year-old men still searching for the perfect girl and abusing and using. Then one day, the pee-pee’s going to go limp and Cialis and Viagra ain’t going to help him. I’d put him into singles boot camp right next to Jennifer Aniston. The two of them, I’d like to put into boot camp.
Returning this season is the matchmaker herself Patti Stanger, along with Vice President of Matching, Chelsea Autumn and her Chief Operating Officer, Destin Pfaff. Also back is Destin’s fiancée, Rachel, as the first time parents head into season three.
This season will focus on Patti’s matchmaking of course but it will also showcase Patti’s recent engagement, as well as the return of some of Patti’s most memorable clients such as Shauna Raisch from season 2. Patti will also take on more gay clients this season.

In the third season, Stanger once again takes on a selection of millionairesses and gay clients. Plus, millionaires past will come back to haunt Stanger, notably Shauna Raisch who caused a stir last season due to a very tense and uncomfortable exchange with the matchmaker. But Stanger remains unfazed by it all, whipping her millionaires into shape even with a full plate of her own as she makes plans for her upcoming nuptials.
Next to Big Brother, Millionaire Matchmaker is probably my 2nd favorite reality show. I love Patti’s honesty and abrasiveness. The clueless millionaires and sometimes desperate gold diggers women on the show makes it all the more entertaining.

Cocktail was outed as having been on Oxygen’s Bad Girls Club’s first season on this week’s episode, but what VH1 didn’t tell you was that she had also appeared on another reality show! Cocktail aka Joanna Hernandez was also featured on Bravo’s Millionaire’s Matchmaker last year as one of the women looking to date a millionaire.
Cocktail aka Jojo’s biography from the Bad Girls club is below, very interesting. She was a late season replacement for one of the original girls, Ty.
“Joanna appears as a member of the cast in the Oxygen network reality television series The Bad Girls Club. She is 25 years old and a native of Sacramento, California, and grew up in a family of Hispanic descent. Though she makes a living as a go-go dancer, her parents remain supposedly unaware of the job she’s chosen. She has also had breast enhancement surgery, receiving implants in order to further enhance her slim physique. She says that she cheats on her boyfriend, and seeks out sugar daddies to pay her way and get her everything she wants. She refers to herself as a “gold digger,” and says that her mom taught her this attitude, that she should seek out and exploit men who would be willing to provide for her every wish.”
UPDATE - A smart commenter going by the name of Olivia made a great observation that Cocktail was not the girl that appeared on the Millionaire Matchmaker. After watching the video again, it turns out Olivia is correct, and Cocktail has never made an appearance on Millionaire Matchmaker. Thanks Olivia!
