Bachelor’s Courtney Robertson To Write Tell-All Book; Shawntel Newton’s Big News

Courtney Robertson and Shawntel Newton are two well-known, albeit very different, women to come out of the Bachelor madness.

Their occupations and personalities:

Courtney is a model, mean girl, and villain. She cuts throats. Shawntel is a funeral director, quirky girl, and fan favorite. She embalms bodies.

Their Bachelor history:

Courtney "won" her season of the Bachelor. She just ended her engagement to her "prize" Ben Flajnik. Shawntel was rejected by Brad Womack. Later, she crashed Ben's season, but Courtney threatened to leave if Ben kept her. Shawntel was sent home by Ben. Shawntel just announced her engagement to a regular guy.

Their writing style:

Courtney plans to write a juicy tell-all book about her sorrid past relationships and Bachelor experience. Shawntel wrote a tasteful autobiography about her career and Bachelor experience.

Did you catch that? In an interview with Celebuzz, Courtney reveals she's writing a tell-all memoir. I know you're excited, but you cannot pre-order your very own copy yet… so please calm down.

Chris Harrison: Sean Lowe’s ‘Bachelor’ Is Not A “Let’s Get Drunk, Let’s Get Naked” Season

Can you believe it? Sean Lowe is already three quarters of the way to the Bachelor's most romantic final rose ceremony ever. ever.

According to Chris Harrison, Sean's journey is going well and it seems as if Emily Maynard is a distant memory. "Sean's doing great and his choices and decisions so far have been really good," Chris told US Weekly. "He's looking for a lady: someone who respects herself and her family. It's not a crazy, 'let's get drunk, let's get naked' type of season because that's not Sean."

That said, Chris promised, "He has his shirt off a lot." See photo evidence below.

PHOTOS: Meet The 26 Bachelorettes Of Sean Lowe’s The Bachelor Season 17!

Aww, there he is.. our new Bachelor holding a rose. ABC officially announced Sean Lowe as the star of The Bachelor Season 17 earlier this week! You know, right after Chris Harrison spilled the beans at the Emmy Awards. We met Sean on the Bachelorette, of course, but that season was all about Emily Maynard.

Now, Sean is the star and in charge of the roses. Sean, 28, is an entrepreneur from Dallas, Texas. Southern values, family, and faith are very important to Sean. In his free time, Sean enjoys camping, wakeboarding, dancing, outdoor activities, and attending concerts.

The ABC press release tells us what Sean is looking for as the Bachelor: "He wants to be the patriarch of a family that is centered on faith, love and, laughter. He is eager to be a supportive husband that will encourage his wife to chase her dreams, as well as someone who she can rely on to help her through good and bad times. Quite simply, he is looking for his best friend. Sean also wants a big family and would love to adopt a child along with having his own – just so long as he can pass along the values he was taught to his kids."

Taping is already underway for Sean's season, which will begin airing in January 2013. And, ABC must be eager to get this party started, because they have already released the pictures and first names of the 24 "new to us" women that will be competing for Sean's final rose (and that sweet Neil Lane rock). Undoubtedly, Sean's final rose will bring us the most romantic rose ceremony ever. Like, ever.. ever. I digress.. anyway, this information has been released at least three months earlier than normal. Their ages, hometowns, and occupations were not listed, however. In addition to the new faces, there are two familiar faces! Enjoy!

Chris Harrison Confirms Sean Lowe As The Next Bachelor

The next Bachelor is Sean Lowe!

Chris Harrison confirmed the news to SheKnows on the Primetime Emmy Awards red carpet last night. When asked whom Chris would like to see as the next Bachelor… perhaps Sean, Chris answered, "Well, a little known secret, he has been chosen."

While Roberto Martinez and Arie Luyendyk Jr. were also considered, all recent signs, rumors, and spoilers pointed towards Sean Lowe as the next Bachelor.

Arie Luyendyk Jr. And Roberto Martinez Are Out! Is Sean Lowe In?

Is Sean Lowe the next Bachelor? Well, apparently, he's the only "name" still in the running.

On August 31st, Arie Luyendyk Jr. announced that he is pulling out of the race to be the next Bachelor. Arie tweeted, "The Bachelorette was an amazing experience but I will not continue with the Bachelor. Ultimately I realized my heart is tied to the race track and my career is my main priority. I'm looking forward to getting back on the track."

As you can imagine, Arie's fans went crazy. I may have shed a tear myself. Seriously… the good looks… the kisses… the sense of humor… Arie would be an entertaining Bachelor. Did someone just mumble cough <but he's a player>? Eh, their standards haven't too high in recent years anyway. Case in point – Jake Pavelka and Brad Womack Part 2. Arie responded to me his fans on Twitter, "Lots of encouraging remarks. Thank you for all the love, the future looks bright and you will see more of me soon enough. #LoveMyFans."

Just a few days later, on September 4th, Ryan Seacrest disclosed that Roberto Martinez will "definitely not" be the seventeenth Bachelor. The dimples are out too?! There's that tear again.

Arie Luyendyk Jr.‘s Daddy says Arie wants to be the next Bachelor. A unnamed source, who attended a recent IndyCar event in Ohio, overheard Arie Luyendyk Sr. talking about Arie’s ~~hot passionate~~ - oops, sorry, I was thinking about those kisses – desire to return to the show.

“I heard him say Arie is definitely interested in being the next Bachelor,” said the source. “He said if they ask him, he’d be thrilled.”

Ali Fedotowsky‘s ex-fiancé Roberto Martinez is rumored to be the next Bachelor. With Roberto and his delicious dimples getting so much attention, is former Bachelor and Bachelorette star Ali also hoping for another chance? Returning to the show isn’t out of the question. Brad Womack recently gave it another try. He’s still single and now we’re stuck with the yawn-fest that is Emily Maynard, but he tried. Will Ali follow Brad’s example and return to the show?

“I don’t think so – at least, not in the near future. I think it’s way too soon for something like that. So not right now, no,” she tells Wetpaint. So, that’s a no to the Bachelorette (for now). Ali‘s single and ready to mingle though!! Ali says, “I’m single right now. I’ve actually been single this entire time, despite what you may have heard! I’ve been on one or two semi-dates…I’m not even sure you would call them actual dates. But I’m ready. I’m ready!”
