Anyone remember Draya Michele and Malaysia Pargo‘s epic brawl with Sundy Carter on season 3 of Basketball Wives LA? This was before Draya got all like, ‘I’m too classy to remember how ratchet I was now that I’m dating a Dallas Cowboy.’ Well anyway, now that Sundy is no longer under contract with Vh1 she has filed a police report against her former co-star citing that Malaysia and Draya’s attack gave her permanent eye damage!
Sundy claims that during the incident, which occurred in 2013, Draya punched her, then Malaysia followed that up with a hit to her eye socket – and ever since her vision has been blurry and she needs glasses.
Thank goodness for sources with the inside scoop! Reality Tea is fortunate to have one when it comes to Basketball Wives: LA, and our contact has been spot on with all of the assessments of the upcoming season. I am excited to see how it all plays out, especially in light of the anticipated Miami crossover!
Our insider has been sharing tidbits with us about the show for a while now. Filming of the new season is drawing to a close, and our behind the scenes informant shares that we need to expect the unexpected. Not everyone from Miami about whom we’d previously speculated actually made the jump to BBWLA, and the fan favorites are at odds with their co-stars. That’s the kind of drama I like!
VH1 loves a franchise crossover, doesn’t it? First it has people hopping from city to city for Love & Hip Hop, and now the network is following its own lead with the ladies of Basketball Wives! I can’t say I’m surprised, but no show in either franchise is going to live up to the ratchet behavior and entertainment that Love & Hip Hop: Atlanta has brought to the small screen! It hit struck gold with that cast for sure!
We’ve got the inside scoop on the upcoming season of Basketball Wives: LA! Along with some new faces, some of the franchise’s veterans will be returning. Joining them will also be Shaunie O’Neal (it’s been a long time since I’ve written about ol’ Nostrils!) and Tami Roman who previously made their home in Miami on the original Basketball Wives. That’s a recipe for drama if I’ve ever heard!
It’s Oscar mania everywhere as we lead up to Sunday night’s awards ceremony. And while our favorite reality stars will most likely NEVER attend the Oscars, much less WIN one, they still love to party and celebrate anyway!
Basketball Wives LAis finally returning for season 4 after a long hiatus, but the Miami version of the show has been canceled leaving us only with LA, which is currently filming and fraught with plenty of drama – all of it reportedly centered around Draya Michele! Oh, and Shaunie, O’Neal is back.
The show has cycled through a lot of cast members since it first aired – and after adding Sundy Carter and Brittish Williams last season, producers fired them this season! Last season ended on a dreadful note when Draya flat-out refused to film the reunion with those two ladies. A source tells us the drama is even more insane behind the scenes!
The shiz-nigh-ee is about to hit the fan-ishtas-ee. No, not really…I just love channeling my inner Lil' Scrappy. The Love & Hip Hop: Atlanta star says the darndest things! Scrap has had close to a dozen eggs scrambling to get in his pants this season, but Momma Dee is cracking down on the ladies. Not just any woodland creature can enter her kingdom!
Speaking of, "the Bambi," despite what we saw on Monday's episode, Scrappy and Bambi are still together and more in love than ever…which, in Scrap's case, means he's finally in love!
What is it about rites of passage when it comes to reality stars? If they aren't releasing their own cookbook, they're getting stopped on suspicion of drunk driving. I guess there are more ways than one to maintain notoriety once a show finishes filming for the season!
And another one bites the dust. Let's face it, the marriages that endure in light of reality television success are far outnumbered by those that fail. Even the unions that seem the strongest out of the limelight tend to seem cursed the second one (or both!) of the couple allows cameras to film their every move! The most recent victim of this phenomenon is Basketball Wives: LA's star Maylasia Pargo.
Malaysia and soon-to-be-ex husband Jannero Pargo were married in 2006. The reality star claims that she and the Charlotte Hornets NBA player have been separated since December of 2012. I guess that would explain why he's never featured on the show!
