Things are getting heated and dangerous in the land of Real Housewives of Atlanta. I cannot wait! Lord knows I love a legal drama!
Kandi Burruss, along with co-writer and co-producer Rodney Richard are suingKim Zolciak for non-payment and improper use of copywritten material over the song "Don't Be Tardy." The suit was filed in federal court.
Well Wigs is not taking any accountability in the matter! Oh Kim… You know if the tables were reversed Kim would hunt Kandi down and waterboard her for that money!
"This is nothing short of a publicity stunt, I find this lawsuit funny yet sad," Kimtold Too Fab. "Coming after me now and this song is 4 years old? I have in fact overpaid Kandi and have documents to prove it and my legal team will handle this accordingly."
Construction on Zolciak Manor (aka Kim Zolciak's dream home) is still chugging along!
The former Real Housewives of Atlanta star took to Twitter this week to share the latest updates on her eight-fireplace dream home. Kim also shared some behind-the-scenes shots from the taping of "Don't Be Tardy" and confirmed that she WILL be attending the Atlanta reunion! (Oh this should be good!)
With less than one month until the season 2 debut of her spinoff, Kim shared the above photo from filming day on DBT, "Our 1st two stand ins!! Now we are finally in the chair! I know you love our sweats at the bottom! #rolling". Worth noting: Kroy's toes are painted, too.
Poor Sweetie has been the victim of not just Kim’s crazy, but also NeNe Leakes’ and radio host Rickey Smiley’s when he started a “Free Sweetie” campaign after the infamous final NeNe vs. Kim blow-out last season! Sweetie claimed the effort ruined her life, although she does communicate with Smiley via Twitter, and defended Kim’s treatment of her. Well, now it seems that Sweetie has been set free!
According to Kim’s daughter Brielle who was questioned via Formspring about Sweetie not living with Kim in the family’s new house; the long-suffering and probably abused assistant was “fiiredd”!
When pushed for more information, Brielle responded “I really don’t want to talk about it” and simply stating: “long story” when asked what happened. She also admitted their family no longer talks to Sweetie! No information about when Sweetie was actually let go, but as of late-July she was still working for Kim.
As for Sweetie she has given no statement on the situation, but she did wish Kim’s younger daughter Arianna a happy birthday via Twitter.
Sweetie is definitely appearing in this seasons RHOA, so hopefully we will get to the bottom of the drama!
In other interesting RHOA news, the almost-divorced, NeNe is now a restaurant owner! NeNe Tweeted that she is opening a Famous Famiglia restaurant in the Sacramento International Airport of all places. The pizza depot is slated to open THIS WEEK on Oct 6th. A photo of the new outpost is below – it’s super classy. Four Michelin stars!
As to why she suddenly decided to go into the Italian Fast Food restaurant industry, perhaps NeNe has been hanging out with Teresa Giudice or something…

According to a new report, the ex-husband of Real Housewives of Atlanta star Kim Zolciak is a convicted child molestor who is serving time in prison.
The National Enquirer broke the shocking news in its latest issue stating Kim’s first husband Daniel Dominic Toce is behind bars in a Connecticut state prison after pleading guilty to molesting a 15-year-old.
“Kim can’t believe the father of her girls is a child molester!” a source close to Kim revealed. “When she got the news, she was sick to her stomach. Kim can’t stop thinking about the shocking crime that Daniel committed on that innocent girl.”
Daniel, who remarried after his two-year union to Kim ended in 2003, is no stranger to crime. Before his 2010 arrest for sexual risk of injury to a minor, he had previous arrests and convictions ranging from breach of peace to felony robbery and larceny, dating back to 2004.
And while some reports had mixed up Kim’s ex-husband Daniel with another Daniel Toce, who happens to be the son of a billionaire, it turns out Kim’s Daniel is far from being wealthy. In fact, this Daniel is reportedly broke and owes back child support for his kids from his first marriage. Kim has always maintained she doesn’t receive child support nor alimony from her ex.
Daniel, who pleaded guilty to a single count of felony sex abuse against a minor, was sentenced to 10 years behind bars. He will however only have to serve 2 1/2 years as his remaining sentence will be suspended. Only 2.5 years for molesting a child? Disgusting.
While Daniel sits in prison, Kim, 33, is now trying to cut off all contact between him and her two daughters, Brielle, 14, and 10-year-old Ariana.
“Kim is consulting her legal team to see if she can permanently terminate Daniel’s parental rights or at least severely restrict them,” reveals a source. “She doesn’t want him anywhere near her two girls when he gets out of prison.” Though the Enquirer reports Daniel is the father of both of Kim’s daughters, it appears Daniel is only the father of Kim’s youngest daughter Ariana.
In other RHOA news, TheYBF blog is reporting that the one and only Nene Leakes has been giving her fans the cold shoulder. Below is an excerpt about a fan’s recent run in with the Nene from the blog -
A fan spotted NeNe on a 2:30p flight from Ft. Lauderdale airport (NeNe was vacaying in Miami for the Holiday)… And she wasn’t alone. Her husband (didn’t they say they were getting a divorce?) was there acting extra coupled up…and with the 2 sons. So when the fan attempted to say “Hello” to the Gucci’d up (dress and shades) reality chick, the fan allegedly got an up-and-down glance once-over and a shrug-off from NeNe.
I use to be a big FAN of NeNe from Atlanta housewives. Well not anymore.” All that has changed, the fan said. “I was so excited to see her so I spoke to her I said hi. She looked at me up and down, and in the rudest voice she could muster as if I were a peasant she said HI!”
Can the Nene even be considered a Z-list celebrity? Yikes.
It seems things continue to get serious between Kim Zolciak, 32, and her baby daddy to be/NFL player beau Kroy Biermann, 25.
Kim, star of the Real Housewives of Atlanta,revealed in Life & Style two weeks ago that following 10 months of dating, she and Kroy were planning to move in together in preparation for the Spring arrival of their unborn son.
And this week on twitter, Kim’s 14-year-old daughter Brielle Zolciak let it slip that her mom and Kroy were looking to buy a certain $3.25 million, 11,000 sq. ft. mansion in Duluth, Georgia. A major upgrade from Kim’s previous 3,396 square foot townhouse, that has been featured on the Bravo show and is currently listed for sale at $499,000. In fact, Brielle linked to the home on her Formspring page stating “”newwww house.” She has since deleted the post.
Kim also tweeted Thursday morning, “Fingers crossed this house deal works out and they accept our offer!!!!!! <— another reason I can’t sleep! Lol.” And when fans wished her luck on the new home, she replied, “Hopefully they accept our offer.”
The home listing shows it sits on a 2-acre estate at the listing price of $3,250,000. The 11,066 square foot brick residence has 7 bedrooms, 6 full and 4 half bathrooms, 3 full kitchens, 2 laundry rooms, 1 media room that seats 30 people, and a four-car garage. The home also boasts a swimming pool, and an outdoor basketball court.
Pictures of the home exterior and interior are below. Brielle also revealed on her Formspring page that Kim’s assistant Sweetie Hughes is gay. When asked about her thoughts on gay marriage, Brielle replied – “my best friends gay, my moms assitant, hairstylists, andd everyone my life revolves around is gay. what do u thinkk?” When another fan asks her if Sweetie is gay, she responded, “Thats beside the point.” Days later, both postings are still up so there’s a good chance it wasn’t meant to be a secret.
And finally, according to a NFL salary report via USA TODAY, Kroy earned $392,280 for his 2009 season with the Atlanta Falcons. While Sportscity reports Kroy earned $470,000 for his 2010 season, and is scheduled to earn $555,000 for his 2011 season albeit he doesn’t get cut from the team. As for Kim, she and her Atlanta Housewives costars reportedly earned $150,000 each for their 3rd season.
Good luck to Kim. Here’s to hoping this home purchase doesn’t end up similar to that of Sheree/Alexis/Peggy/[Feel Free To Insert Your Own Bravo Housewife Here], etc.

So typically, the plan is to wait a few weeks into a Housewives season before doing weekly recaps, but within 10 minutes of watching the Real Housewives of Atlanta season 3 premiere last night, I knew a recap was coming today.
The season premiere definitely did not disappoint. It brought the drama as well as some highlarious great one-liners. “I’ve been chasing dick since I came out of the womb” anyone? Priceless.
My only pet peeve with the Atlanta ladies is that last night’s episode just seemed o what’s that word I’m looking for — phony! From watching the show, it is rather obvious that the ladies are very aware of the cameras and are definitely playing things up while getting into their characters. Example – Sheree’s comment about winning an Oscar one day. It just seemed like she was playing into the whole narcissism aspect of her character. I wasn’t buying it nor do I believe she really feels that way, nor do I think she has a new found passion for acting. I believe the ladies are turning things up a notch this season as not to get the Lisa Wu Hartwell treatment.

The 2009Soul Train awards was filmed at the Georgia World Congress Center on November 3, 2009, which of course meant the Real Housewives of Atlanta had to be in attendance.
The awards show, scheduled to air on BET Nov. 29 at 9 pm ET, included a performance by Kandi Burruss and R & B Singer Brian McKnight.
Also in attendance wasLisa Wu Hartwell’s ex-husband, Keith Sweat. Lisa has mentioned in recent interviews that she and Keith are now trying to work out a custody agreement on their own. She made headlines months ago when she announced she would be taking Keith back to court, in an attempt to try to regain custody of their two sons.
