The one thing that I really wanted to see ended up at the end of the episode in a “to be continued” moment. I was dying to see what Vicki had to say to Heather Dubrow when she took her aside on that yacht party. I can’t believe that I have to wait a whole week for something interesting to happen, however, Heather had some things to say about about the premiere episode in her blog.
The fans and RHOC cast members really want to know what Vicki knew about the scandal as it was happening. We will probably never truly set the record straight on this one. Well, apparently Vicki did benefit from this terrible ordeal and the subsequent breakup – well, sort of.
We spent the entire season chasing down Brooks’ diagnosis (which came back “LIARFACE!”). After Brooks announced his decision to eschew chemo, everyone just wanted Brooks and Vicki to prove emphatically that he had cancer – non-Hodgkin Lymphoma to be exact, instead he did some Earthing and drank smoothies.
I have no idea why this is a news story because I feel like I hear this Vicki starts this “rumor” every year, but Vicki Gunvalson has revealed that she almost did not come back to Real Housewives of Orange County. I never believe it because we all know how much pride she takes in being the “OG of the OC,” but she likes to spread this possibility around in between every season it seems.
Aside from this “revelation,” Vicki also shares her thoughts on her break up with Brooks Ayers, trashes the rest of the cast for not getting over the craziness that happened last year, and comes for her frienemy Tamra Judge– hard.
Everyone who watches Real Housewives of Orange County knows how much Vicki Gunvalson loves working and talking about her businesses and subsequent wealth. Vicki is the epitome of work hard, play hard. Whenever she isn’t turning up, she is making money.
Vicki hasn’t met a business deal that she hasn’t liked. So it’s not shocking that she has something new in the works. But what does Vicki have going on this time?
The last season of Real Housewives of Orange County was not a good look for Vicki Gunvalson, to say the least. She was super annoying, as per usual, hating on every one of her cast members because she doesn’t think they have the same work ethic that she does. Then Vicki took things a step further with her involvement in that whole Brooks Ayers fake cancer scandal.
No one wanted anything to do with her at the end of last season and I see why. Vicki was shitty friend to all of them and was extremely shady. Part of me wondered if she was going to come back to the show, but then I remembered that this is Vicki and she lives for the attention. I figured she would return to RHOC to an icy reception from the cast, and I have no idea if that happened, but it seems like it’s all good in the hood now. At least according to Vicki’s Instagram posts. And on top of that, Vicki has been bragging about having a new boyfriend. Well, she rebounded quickly. On many fronts.
For a guy who claims he wants to live a private life away from the spotlight, Brooks Ayers sure spends a lot of time talking to the press. The former Real Housewives of Orange County cast member is now giving statements about wanting to be left out of future conversations, especially those regarding his cancer storyline.
Just when we had almost forgotten him, Brooks pops back up by giving yet another statement, with his version of the past five years of his life with Vicki Gunvalson. And begging to be left alone to live a quiet and private life battling his disease and working on his career.
