Flipping Out

Flipping Out Jeff Lewis

Oh, so sad it’s officially the last day of Flipping Out, but do not despair because Jeff and the gang will be back sooner than later with a new Bravo reality show called “Interior Therapy” and I need to get my audition tape made ASAP. Imagine – spending a week with Jeff, Jenni, and Zoila – that’s better than free reign of Lisa Vanderpump’s closet!

Jeff and Andy break down what’s been going on in the land of Lewis since the show stopped filming and apparently Jeff has only seen Sarah twice and Trace once since they were let go of JLD. Jeff confirms he is in his new redecorated home, his income has doubled since Gage convinced him to cut the dead weight, he is definitely planning kids sooner than later, and he is now representing Zoila as her manager – he’ll be getting 90% and she still only gets free room and board. Jeff was much softer during this interview and had so many humble (for him!) moments where he admitted how much the people in his life meant to him – like when he said he couldn’t live without Gage, Zoila, and Jenni. It was nice.

On last night’s episode of Flipping Out, it’s the return of Stacey Ferris. Oh, joy… And Chaz Dean gives Jeff some very unfortunate news, prompting him to descend into a anger-ridden pity party that is pretty much the Jeff Lewis go-to emotional reaction.

Things start out with a walk-thru of the Cole bungalow. Chaz seems really happy with the work, but not apparently happy enough to straight up offer Jeff the job designing his New York Salon, leaving Jeff in limbo.

At West Knoll, Gage is now apparently angling to get Zoila fired! What is it with this guy?! Zoila acknowledges that Gage is gunning for her, but watch out because he, in fact, is going to be next. All this drama unfolds because Zoila catches Gage innocently washing a coffee cup dirtied from the coffee he made himself (gasp!)– Zoila calls him out on trying to make her look bad in front of Jeff. Jeff(!) defends him – claiming Gage tries to help out wherever he sees a need. Suuuuuure. Riiiiggght – he’s not at all the “quiet enemy” Zoila describes. Zoila reports that she needs a break from monitoring Gage’s sneakery to go watch her telenovelas, but don’t mistake – this bitch still cleans, Jeffrey! In all seriousness, Gage needs to go. I’m about to write Andy Cohen an intervention letter on Jeff’s behalf. Who’s with me?

Last night’s episode of Flipping Out was rowdy, raucous, and racy – and about renewal. Zoila finally got her facelift, Sarah got a send off to her new married life, Chaz Dean’s bathroom got a major uplift, and Jeff realized who on his team is really there for Jeff Lewis Design.

Jeff is planning Zoila’s plastic surgery viewing party – and she better be ready with shaved legs because the JLD team will be watching her get her face lifted and her neck tucked. I predict Jeff will be bringing popcorn and martinis to the party. Zoila doesn’t want Jeffery to watch though cause she’s going to be nakey. No bras mean no boys for Zoila! Jenni explains they are all really concerned, because Zoila is the glue that holds JLD together.

On last night’s episode of Flipping Out, Jeff learns the unpleasant reality about mixing business with pleasure as workplace annoyances interfere in his relationship with live-in boyfriend and business manager, Gage and the Cole Salon remodel is taking way longer than necessary due to the unprofessional workplace atmosphere, causing the owner to put the pressure on Jeff. Zoila, however, learns sometimes having a sugar daddy for a boss isn’t a bad thing at all when you want a complete make over!

At Jeff’s house, they are down to the serious business of teasing Gage about his burrito gone down wrong resulting in an infamous toilet clogging! Jeff caught Gage red-handed with the plunger; Sarah and her clown make-up explain Jeff is obsessed with #2. Jeff describes his office policy: “If you go #2 in the office, you’re on blast. If you clog the toilet, I’m practically alerting the neighbors.” Good to know – if you ever visit Senor Lewis’ don’t poop on the premises!

Last night’s episode of Flipping Out was about the boundaries between friendship and the workplace between Jeff and Sarah. After a slew of mistakes that have cost Jeff time and money are made, Jeff’s frustrations with Sarah reach a breaking point causing him to snap at Zoila and seek advice (yes, you read correctly) from Jenni.

In the middle of dealing with the Sarah situation, Jeff is saddled with two major re-designs one from a client he loves working with but who doesn’t like to get her bills paid on time and another who hoards baskets. Jeff is also in the process of hiring a new intern. And they better be hot.

Things start out with Jage reviewing potential interns; Jeff’s main concern – who is the best most stripper looking candidate! Um… is that legal? Is it discrimination? I guess Jeff simply can’t help if he feels better around attractive, fit people! Later Zoila gets to play Hot or Not with the potential intern’s photos. Zoila only wants a hottie of the male persuasion. Duh!

Jeff Lewis returns in Season 5 of Flipping Out and oh how I’ve missed him. Never leave me again, Jeffrey Lewis.

Opening the show we learn, Jeff has sold his Valley Oak house and is living in a sacreligious rental called West Knoll, because his schedule is too cray-cray to find new digs. Perhaps if he stopped micromanaging Zoila so much, he’d have more time, but something tells me he’d NEVER cut that out of his schedule. Jeff threatens Saint Zoila with a walker if she doesn’t stop resting her hands on the walls of his pristine rental – hey, the man doesn’t want to forfeit his security deposit! Zoila and Jeff go back and forth over who is more lucky to be stuck with the other one – Zoila is more lucky, no Jeff is more lucky. Personally I feel most lucky to have you both back in my reality TV life.

Sarah (with her signature garish makeup) and Trace are also back, and they are fighting over who gets to sit further away from “crazy” aka Jeff, who is apparently now screening their emails. I bet Jeff Lewis Design blocks Facebook at the office. Lame! Sarah is still looking for more project manager duties, and has been handling a lot of the client needs with (surprisingly!) few mistakes.

OC Housewives' Alexis Bellino, Lynne Curtin and Gretchen Rossi

Bravo held their 2010 Upfront Party at theSkylight Studio this week in NYC, and all of our favorite Housewives as well as other Bravolebrities were sure to be in attendance.

The upfront party is when Bravo announces what is to come during their next season of television.

OK magazine was there and was able to report some behind the scenes moments. Representing the Real Housewives of Orange County were Alexis Bellino, Lynne Curtin and Gretchen Rossi, who did not seem phased by their new competitionthe Real Housewives of Beverly Hills. The OC ladies joked that they did hear the Beverly Hills Housewives all have their own private jets.

The Real Housewives of NYC’s Jill Zarin, Ramona Singer and Alex McCord hit the red carpet together during which Jill would not reveal whether or not she and Bethenny will reconcile, simply saying “watch the show.”

Kelly Bensimon also hit the red carpet with LuAnn De Lesseps, and when asked how she thinks Bethenny will be as a mom, she replied, “I can’t really speak to that. I’m sorry.”

The Real Housewives of Atlanta were the only housewives franchise to all walk the red carpet together. The Atlanta ladies are reportedly getting along better these days.

The Real Housewives of New Jersey were also in attendance. Danielle Staub walked the red carpet by herself, while the four remaining housewives stayed together.

Also below are photos of Bravo stars from the Millionare Matchmaker, Flipping Out, Top Chef, Kell On Earth, and Shear Genius.
