Lil’ Scrappy

Who doesn't love a show hopper?  Malaysia Pargo's former sidekick on Basketball Wives: LA has found a new show to call home–in a new city–all thanksnighee to her new beau Lil' Scrappy.  Bambi Johnson has relocated to the ATL where she will become a fixture on Love & Hip Hop Atlanta.  You don't say!

Hop Hollywood recently caught up with Bambi at the BET Hop Hop Awards. When asked about her presence on the upcoming season of L&HH ATL, she shyly replies, "I'm pretty sure.  Maybe a little bit." Does "a little bit" mean a little bit more than the hot tub scene with Benzino when Kirk Frost got into a whole menage of trouble? Only time will tell, I guess. Bambi also shares that she is totally done with all things BBW: LA, although her friendship with Malaysia is still solid.  As for Scrappy's ex-fiance and the mother of his child Erica Dixon, Bambi is pretty much "Erica who?"

I wonder if Bambi is the princess that Queen Momma Dee has been waiting on her prince to find?

So, Shay from Love & Hip Hop Atlanta has a new beau, and I don't know which aspect of that sentence is more odd.  I'll let y'all tell me…Am I really all that invested in the romantic happenings of a woman best known for "dating" Flava Flav and Lil' Scrappy? Is it accurate to actually say that Shay is "from" L&HH ATL?

Is it strange that when I reminded myself that she was with both Scrappy and Flav I had an inner monologue with myself that maybe Shay and I aren't all that different because I would love to spend the day cooking soul food with Flav (seriously, the man is a talent in the kitchen) and/or making up new wordnighees with Daryl?

Anyhoo, all that aside, Shay has been photographed of late with actor and singer Cori Simms.  Not familiar with his work, I took the liberty of googling him.

Lil' Scrappy is notorious for his bad behavior on and off Love & Hip Hop Atlanta. Lately the star's life has been nothing but drama.

In a new interview with Dallas' 97.9 The Beat Studio, Scrappy confronts rumors that he was fired from L&HH and reveals that his latest arrest was cause he was defending his girlfriend. Modern romance, baby. I will so totally brawl in front of the nacho cheese dip dispenser for you!

On getting arrested recently for fighting in a gas station with former friend Kenny Rogers, Scrappy insists he is not to blame! "Somebody I know – he got real disrespectful. I told him, 'I'm on probation, I can't be doing all this.' He done said the wrong thing to me a couple times – and other occasions as well – so it was really backed up," Scrappy explains.

Dang we can allllways count on Love & Hip Hop Atlanta to be the center of d-to-the-rama!

The latest rumor to plague the massively popular show is that Lil' Scrappy is saying sayonara. Now this story originates from Media Take Out so put your skepticism hats on, but rumor has it the rapper was FIRED and replaced with Waka Flocka Flame

Apparently Scrappy was surprised to learn of this termination because he tweeted "Not true" when asked about the rumor. He added that he wasn't sure if Waka Flocka was joining the cast but he certainly isn't leaving!

It's so haa-arrr-arrd to say good-bye to Stevie Jaaaaaaayyyyeeeeeee!  Last night's final installment of the Love & Hip Hop Atlanta reunion was bittersweet.  On one hand, it's been an emotional roller coaster of a season, and this girl is drained, but on the other, speaking like Lil' Scrappy in the off-season tends to draw some strange looks in my place of biz-nigh-ee.

We'll jump right back into where Mona Scott Young left us…with Rasheeda and Kirk Frost's dysfunctional marriage.  The audience is stunned to re-watch Kirk suggest his wife get an abortion, and he says–with a straight face, no less!–that pulling out was a legitimate form of birth control.  What, is he sixteen?  Mona scolds Kirk when he laughs over the footage of his affair, and he again relays to Mona that he believes Rasheeda gave him a free pass.  Mimi Faust is all "oh no he didn't" from the sofas, and Drew knows better than do anything but nod in agreement to Mimi's outcry since he's sitting between her and Traci Reece.

atl reunion 4

Tomorrow night is the second half of the Love & Hip Hop Atlanta reunion.  I'll be honest, I'm a bit sad that the season has come to end.  Whose bad decisions (and fashion choices) are going to make me feel better about themselves?  Oh, that's right.  Basketball Wives is returning soon, so I should be good!

On the final installment of the reunion, Mona Scott Young questions Rasheeda and Kirk Frost on the status of the marriage, and she dishes with Shay about the current state of her friendship with benefits with Lil' Scrappy.  Something tells me that Erica Dixon isn't going to like what she has to say!

We'll be treated to a K. Michelle performance, and a "heartfelt" apology from Stevie J. to Mimi Faust.  That should be entertaining!  Can't wait?  Check out clips from tomorrow night's debacle after the jump!

atl reunion 3

Y'all, I know you were as excited as I was to see the insanity unfold on last night's Love & Hip Hop ReunionMona Scott-Young is moving up in the hosting world and now has her own reunion band.  Touting the season as a Hip HOpera (why didn't I think of that??), she breaks down the drama from the past season before introducing the cast.  It's like a technicolor explosion.  Between K. Michelle's hair, Ariane's blue lipstick (yes, blue), Erica Dixon's eye make-up, and Mimi Faust's orange dress, I feel like I just woke up in Oz.  Kirk Frost gets booed, which he laughs off, because, hey, even he knows what a d-bag he is!  He is dressed like an extra on Miami Vice, by the way.

Mona is no idiot, so she immediately pits Joseline Hernandez against Mimi, and the requisite derogatory name-calling, cussing, and hopping off the sofa ensues.  Stevie J. stands up proudly, basking in the two women fighting over him.  Mimi assures him that he's sorely mistaken, right before dodging Joseline's stiletto.  We're off to a running start, I'd say.  We are treated to a highlight reel of all the frenemy feuds.  Ariane is the only sane one of the group.

After bringing up the status of Mimi and K. Michelle's friendship, Mimi rolls her eyes and tells Mona to ask K.  K. then compliments Mimi on her orange dress (it is pretty), and you could cut the tension with a knife.  Apparently Ariane's bridge building lessons weren't well received.  Speaking of failed peacemakers, Traci tries to share her intentions to get Erica and Shay speak about their issues.  Erica wonders if this is season two, not a rerun of season one, while Shay reminds Erica that she still isn't married to Lil' Scrappy.

joseline

Has the season of Love & Hip Hop: Atlanta already flown past us in a flurry of unblinged Rolexes, popcorn hos, no-necks, cabin fever (and flings!), and Joseline Hernandez one-liners?  Sadly, it appears so.  Last night was the season finale, and wow.  I don't know if Stevie J. totally appalls me, or if I should be impressed by his sheer ego induced stupidity.

The episode begins with Stevie asking Joseline to clarify her question.  She spells it out that she is asking him to marry her.  He's not willing to say yes, but he likes the ring so he'll wear it.  Joseline is special to him…and she buys him expensive gifts.  Stevie thinks that patience is a virtue, and Joseline is thrilled that he's kind enough to wear the token of her undying devotion.  Someone get her some self-esteem STAT.

Rasheeda invites Traci Reece, Erica Dixon, and Karlie Redd over for cocktails and nursery painting.  She reveals that she's having a boy…and that she's consulted an attorney about her situation with husband Kirk Frost.  Erica is saddened.  Whose dysfunctional relationship can she look up to now?  Speaking of, Rasheeda asks about Lil' Scrappy and his problem with the wiz-nigh-ee.
