Even though it's my job to blog on reality shows, and while I love every housewives franchise for different reasons, I have a hard time following the rumors swirling around the upcoming season of Real Housewives of New Jersey…mainly because it's exhausting. One minute Jacqueline Laurita is bowing out, the next minute most of the cast is being replaced by people who will actually film with Teresa Giudice. Add in the off-again-on-again family relationships and friendships, and my head is spinning!
However, this new gossip is beyond awesome. Two words: Lil' Kim. I'll get back to that later, but it's hilariously amazing. According to sources in the Garden State, all of the women will be returning for another round. Yes, that means we'll all be getting our fill of Jacq, Teresa, Melissa Gorga, Caroline Manzo, and Kathy Wakile. Not only will all of the ladies be back for more, we'll be treated to some additional familiar faces as well as some newcomers. Count on some Kims, that's for sure!
Casting speculation over Real Housewives of New Jersey has been rampant lately. Who's in, who's out, who's new, who's possibly returning after being dead for seasons soap opera style. Several sources have promised all the originals will be coming back, but that some new "friends" of Teresa Giudice are joining the cast!
The newest name to be tossed into the ring is Jennifer Dalton. Jennifer is a real estate agent at Sotheby's and is married to a prominent (and uber wealthy) New Jersey real estate developer and is reportedly a friend of both Teresa and Dina Manzo. She attended Teresa's Fabellini launch last season.
Jennifer has already been vetted by Bravo and appeared on Pregnant in Heels last season. And just who attended her baby shower which was filmed for the show? None other than Teresa andKim D!
Rosie Pope, star of Bravo’s surprisingly dishy hit Pregnant In Heels welcomed her daughter into the world yesterday on Mother’s Day! Vivienne Madison Pope was born May 13 at 12:40 p.m. Rosie and her husband Daron also have two sons, J.R., 3 and Wellington, 15 months; this is the first girl for the family.
Rosie Live-Tweeted throughout her delivery, which is way more than I could’ve accomplished during birth, but I guess she is an expert! “Our healthy and beautiful baby girl weighs 7 pounds, 9 ounces,” Rosie shared with Life & Style. “Daron and I are doing well and so in love with her, as are her older brothers and our extended family.”
Congratulations to Rosie and her family on their new addition!
The new season of Pregnant In Heels premieres May 15th at 10/9c on Bravo. A preview is below! I have to admit, I’m excited for the new season!

Following the drama filled “breakdown” episode last week, a new episode ofBethenny Ever Afterairs tonight on Bravo at 10/9c.
On the 7th episode this season titled “The Mile High Club,” Bethenny anticipates her debut on “Skating With the Stars,” yet she feels like she’s on thin ice. Her schedule is hectic, Thanksgiving is approaching and she’ll be away from baby Bryn for the first time when she visits the Skinny Girl bottling plant. Also tonight, Bethenny will be forced to deal with some comments made about her by her estranged mom. A preview clip is below -
In other Bethenny Frankel news, some good news as her latest book A Place of Yes is currently #5 on the New York Time’s Best-Seller list for Hardcover Advice and Misc. This makes the third time Bethenny has made the list. Bethenny continues to ride high as Bravo recently announced her show has been picked up for a third season and a report came out last week stating she has received her own talk show.
And speaking of a place of yes, Bethenny has received criticism from many fans of her show this season for doing the exact opposite aka coming from a place of no by saying no to Jason’s parents, no to Jason, etc. And following last week’s episode in which she appeared ungrateful after receiving some surprise presents at her birthday party, which led to an odd breakdown, more fans continue to turn against her, bringing us to the question below.
Meanwhile, following the debut of Bravo’s new show Pregnant In Heels in which Rosie Pope, a maternity concierge caters to the affluent, Jill Zarin had a critique of her own. “Watching Preg in Heels. Is she deaf or have speech impediment? I can’t understand her. Does anyone else notice that? Or is it just me?” tweeted a renewed Jill. And when a fan accused her of being mean, she responded, “I was not trying to be mean. She is star of her own show and I can’t understand all her words. Asking if am only one who noticed.”

During the TCA 2011 Winter Press Tour going on this week, Bravo announced several premiere dates and series renewals on Thursday.
The biggest announcement however came in the form of the widely talked about 6th season of the Real Housewives of Orange County. Bravo confirmed yesterday that it will be returning on Sunday, March 6 at 10pm.
Other big announcements included the return date of Bethenny Frankel’s show Bethenny Ever After (season 2), and the renewals of popular shows The Rachel Zoe Project (season 4), Millionaire Matchmaker (season 5) and Flipping Out (season 5).
