It seems like Phaedra Parks has a million jobs. From being a reality TV star to a mom to a lawyer to fitness video vixen and her other super interesting career choice that she got into a few years ago: the mortuary business. That honestly just seemed like a grab for a good story line on Real Housewives of Atlanta, but she really does do this for one of her jobs and Phaedra opened up being a mortician.
We don’t really see a ton of this on show, since I’m sure this is a sensitive and private topic for most people, but Phaedra does mention it here and there and I always thought it was unique, so it’s interesting to see what she has to say about this part of her life.
I hate to say anything poor about anyone’s marriage, but single Porsha Williams made way better TV than married Porsha Stewart ever did as a Real Housewives of Atlanta cast member. The self-proclaimed “princess of Thotland” totally reinvented herself and she (surprisingly) doesn’t bring up or shade her ex Kordell Stewart at all on the show (well, at least not lately!). Kordell is now throwing so major accusations her way after a nude video of him leaked.
The former football player thinks that the RHOAstar is behind the leak. And I really don’t feel like this is true because as Porsha doesn’t need to do this shit at this point. She is well known on her own and scandal with Kordell really isn’t going to do to much for her or her story line. Nevertheless, this dude is (understandably) salty AF and is pretty adamant that Porsha is to blame.
Reality Tea is ranking ALL the Housewives from every season and every city! Our list is broken down into three parts with Housewives ranked from worst to ‘best’ (or best of the worst, if you will). Below is Part 1.
What makes a superior species of Housewives? Is it class? Money? Fabulous plastic surgery and good shoes? Beautiful home? A revolving door of crazy that keeps us on our cheaply-clad toes? Is it a supportive husband? An in-home zoo of fabulous miniature fluff balls clad in their own designer wardrobe? Is it a witty zinger or indispensable advice? Is it their ability to rewrite history without irony? To crack open the egg of their emotional travails in front of cameras? Or is it their ability to deftly control the scenery while cracking a Chanel whip?
Though Kenya and her dad were once estranged, Kenya explains how their newfound closeness is giving her strength during her very public messiness with Matt Jordan. “My dad was only 15 when I was born,” explains Kenya. “He wasn’t in a position to take care of me when my mother wanted to give me up for adoption. Through the years we have struggled as I never understood why we were always at odds or not speaking at all…sometimes for years at a time.”
I’ll admit it: I am rooting for Cynthia Bailey. Now that she’s dropped the rather large dead weight of Peter Thomas from her assorted life baggage, The Real Housewives Of Atlanta star can get on with the business of being fabulous. And this season, that seems just like what she intends to do!
Andy Cohen is playing another round of “Ask Andy.” This time the questions centered around Real Housewives reunions, and Luann de Lesseps‘ upcoming New Year’s Eve wedding to the always controversial Tom D’Agostino!
Andy will not be attending the Real Housewives Of New York star’s nuptials, but he smirks that he sees “nothing but happiness” in Luann and Tom’s future.
I’m not gonna lie, it has been very tough watching the drama between Kenya Moore and Matt Jordan unfold during the current Real Housewives of Atlanta season. I am not a fan of the relationship. Thankfully, Kenya seems to be over it as well. She has been consistently shading him on social media, but on the positive note, at least Kenya seems to be on good terms with her dad.
Longtime viewers of Real Housewives of Atlanta probably know Kenya and her dad have not had the best relationship over the years, so it’s very good news that she’s on good terms with one important man in her life. And you know Kenya, she always has a lot to say about everything.
