RHONJ Season 7

Andy-Cohen-Teresa-Giudice

Is it July 10 yet? It has been way too long since the Real Housewives of New Jersey has blessed us with new episodes. Thankfully the show waited for its queen Teresa Giudice to return after her prison stint. The show is nothing without her and obviously her return home is going to bring in a lot viewers who want to see how she’s holding up.

To promote the show, Teresa has been doing a lot of press and has addressed how she is doing while her husband is in prison. Not only am I pumped to see the Giudice family, but I’m also excited to see how things are for the rest of the cast when this new season starts and a great way to figure that out is to get a sneak peak at the ladies new tag lines.

Teresa Giudice

Real Housewives of New Jersey star Teresa Giudice is not going to let a little thing like her husband, Joe Giudice, being in prison keep her down – she’s got a book to promote, after all, and in case you haven’t heard, there’s a sequel to Turning Tables coming out in June.

“We’re a strong family,” Teresa told Reality TV World at a recent book signing, “and now they have their mommy and we’re going to make it through. I’m with them all the time. I mean, right now, I came to work for a few hours but I’m going right back home.”

Teresa added, repeating herself, “I’m with them all the time. My daughter had a soccer game last night, she had a soccer game this morning, and she has another one tomorrow morning. So, I’m with them all the time. I mean, whenever I have to work, I work but I go right back home and be with my babies. They are my life. I live for them. They need their mommy.”

Real Housewives of New Jersey stars Melissa, Teresa, Jacqueline

It is official – Real Housewives of New Jersey will return later this year with Melissa Gorga, Teresa Giudice, and Jacqueline Laurita. (Between her first post-prison interviews, her book, Turning The Tables, release, and her official return to Real Housewives of New Jersey announcement, it’s starting to feel like Teresa Giudice Week… and… Jim Marchese’s head explodes in 3, 2, 1…)

Teresa, of course, will be the main focus of season 7 as she tries to repair her relationships with her family and friends, namely Melissa and Jacqueline, and learns to live without Joe Giudice. “I am very excited to be back,” said Teresa. “For me this season is all about letting go of the past and embracing the future. People are calling me Teresa 2.0.” Ha! Who are these people? Andy Cohen?

Amber Marchese, Jim Marchese

Look to your left, Jim Marchese is annoyed because Real Housewives of New Jersey is on hold, which means Amber Marchese can’t fulfill her dream of being a reality TV star, until Teresa Giudice is released from prison. Look to your right, holier than thou Jim insisted up and down Twitter that neither he nor Amber wants anything to do with Real Housewives of New Jersey again.

Jim’s panties have been in a bunch since, well, since the day we met him. But, in relation to this story, since Teresa Checks In aired. One of his many issues is that RHONJ season 7 is on hold. “It is BS that the entire cast, especially my wife, had their filming put on hold because Tre and Joe committed several felonies and [Teresa is] sitting in jail,” said the man who recently tweeted, “We are not coming back, do not need money or want fame.” So, he cares, why?!

Teresa Giudice

Prepare to be WOWed by a post-prison Teresa Giudice!

Teresa Giudice signed on for Real Housewives of New Jersey Season 7!

Oy. I cannot decide which of these headlines is more “bang my head against a brick wall” worthy. Ugh. Probably the second one, because the first comes from Teresa‘s lawyer, who’s being paid (maybe) to say things like Teresa’s “strength and resolve” amaze him. <side eye> And there’s more where that came from.

“December 23rd is her release date,” Teresa‘s lawyer, James J. Leonard, told E! News. “There is a possibility that could be moved forward. That’s something we’re actively working on. She will be home for Christmas. I know that means the world to her. Christmas in her house is a big event. When she gets out, she will be on what they consider home confinement, but she will not ultimately be confined to her home. She’ll be free to travel about with certain restrictions until February 5th.” If released on December 23rd, Teresa will have spent 11 months and 18 days of her 15-month sentence behind bars.

RHONJ casting rumors

If recent reports are to be believed, the powers that be are determined to bring some class to Real Housewives of New Jersey.

The casting disaster that was season six combined with the favorable response to adding Lisa Rinna and Eileen Davidson to Real Housewives of Beverly Hills has prompted producers to dig deeper (or just not troll the Dunkin’ Donuts for cast members) for season seven.

The first “big name” that leaked out is Tiki Barber‘s wife Traci Lynn Johnson. “Yes, the rumor is true,” an inside source told E! News. “Traci is down the road with the production company. She and Tiki moved to NJ a few years ago. They are next door neighbors with Snooki.”

Real Housewives of New Jersey ratings

Jim and Amber Marchese have been very vocal – shocker – about their ideas for season 7 of Real Housewives of New Jersey, which include firing Teresa Giudice, but Bravo execs remain tight-lipped.

One thing is for sure, though; Andy Cohen cannot imagine a world which does not include RHONJ. I bet neither can the sequin and spray tan manufacturers.

“I can’t imagine not filming the Real Housewives of New Jersey,” said Andy. “It’s a big franchise for Bravo. I think whatever we do, we’re going to do it the right way, so we’re still figuring that out right now.”
