Andy starts off asking a fan question – wanting to know why Kenya filed charges against Porsha Williams after the reunion brawl. Kenya claims that she didn’t actually file charges, but since she called 911 and got the police involved… Kenya shared, “Honestly Kandi and I will never agree on that. I draw the line at violence. We are there to be gaslights to each other at the reunions. We irritate, we provoke, we annoy, but we don’t resort to violence and I think that’s where I draw the line.”
Caroline Manzo and Michelle Williams were the guests in the clubhouse on Watch What Happens Live last night and of course Caroline was asked a lot of questions relating to the Real Housewives of New Jersey reunion episode that aired right before her appearance.
First up, Andy shows the ladies Gia Giudices’s girl group’s music video (a cover of Britney Spears’ Circus) and Michelle says it’s not a big thing and Caroline says it’s at the cusp of not being okay but it’s not bad. Note: we at first opted not to share the video when it released on Friday because of Gia’s age and other factors, but since it’s now a part of the WWHL episode, we’ll share it below..with the warning that you can bash Teresa Giudice’s parenting all you want, but any nasty comments about Gia or name calling directed at Gia will be deleted and will not be debated by our moderator.
Andy next shows Caroline footage of Teresa from part 1 of the reunion where she says she never hit below the belt. Caroline says “of course she hit below the belt, we all hit below the belt. Just admit that you hit below the belt. We saw it. There’s no denying what we see.”
Caroline on Teresa’s comments that she doesn’t miss Jacqueline: “I think she’s trying to project that she doesn’t care, but it’s clear that she does care. she gets emotional when she reads her texts, she can’t talk about it, she gets teary eyed, so I think she does care but doesn’t want to say it.”
During the show, Jacqueline tweeted to Andy Cohen, “I asked my husband to reach out to Dina when she went through the divorce. So did I and I encouraged them to meet. She wouldn’t.”
Dina replied, “That’s not true. Just because you say it doesn’t mean it’s true. I wanted to meet with my brother more than anything.” In response, Jacqueline tweeted to Andy, “Chris Laurita favorited my tweet. He knows the truth.” and “I still have our text messages that I can show you.” Does anyone delete texts?
In the first one Teresa attempts to explain what she meant by “I don’t understand why this is happening to us.” She also tries to plead her case about her respect for the law and how she’s going to pay back the $400,000. In the second video they take a few calls from viewers. And she goes on and on again with the ‘victim’ stance of how the biggest lesson she learned from this whole mess is to never sign things without asking an attorney to explain them. She also talks about how this is just a blip in time and they’ll get through this and move on with life.
When a caller asked for Tamar‘s opinion on Kenya‘s music, she shared, “She sings? No shade! I think I heard [Gone with the Wind Fabulous] in the club one time. I didn’t know it was a serious record. No shade. Well, I can’t lie, she’s not my favorite. Something about the thirst of it all. She’s a pretty girl. It’s just, like, the pageant thing kind of reeks.” Tamar admitted that NeNe Leakes is her girl.
I’m sure I wasn’t the only one watching the Real Housewives of Atlanta star’s social media accounts for a reaction. And Kenya delivered!
Andy Cohen is releasing another memoir and it’s due to hit shelves next month. To celebrate the release of “The Andy Cohen Diaries: A Deep Look at a Shallow Year”, the Watch What Happens Live host sat down with Glamour Magazine to share his thoughts on how to have a happy life and we have a few excerpts from the article, including giving props to his friendships withNeNe Leakes and Bethenny Frankel.
DO know: You’re your own worst critic: “When Christina Hendricks and Dylan McDermott were on my show [in October 2013], I felt like everything I said didn’t come out right or landed with a thud. When I have off shows, I have to remind myself that my experience of what just happened was only my experience. It’s never as intense for everyone else as it is for you.”
