The Hills star Lo Bosworth is speaking out against her costar’s multiple plastic surgeries. Heidi Montag made the shocking and dangerous decision to change her face & body with 10 plastic surgery procedures in one day – before and after shots are below.
Lo feels like there’s a real danger in sending the wrong message to other young women. “I hope that girls don’t read the article, look at the decisions that Heidi made, and think that’s normal,” Lo tells PEOPLE. “She was quoted as saying that [practically] every celebrity in Hollywood has these procedures done, every day . . . And that’s just not true. I would never want young girls to read that and think it’s the standard that they need to be measured by.”
Lo however makes it clear that she is not completely against plastic surgery. “I am not against it,” she said but for her, moderation is key.
“If some wrinkles come across my face, sure, I’ll get a little Botox, it’s not a big deal,” she says. “I think you should do what you want to do to take care of yourself. I just hope that the girls who look up to us and watch us don’t look at what Heidi did as the only way to be successful and beautiful.”
Former Hills star Lauren Conrad had no comment on Heidi’s surgeries. Heidi told PEOPLE in their cover story that she is “beyond obsessed” with plastic surgery and that she hopes to get some more work done in the future. A before and after photo of Heidi is below –

Over 12 plastic surgery procedures, all at the tender age of 23. I read this story this weekend and there was something really disturbing and unbelievably sad about this girl. She is clearly disturbed and has a low self worth. Her life has seriously taken a drastic turn for the worse since she began dating Spencer Pratt.
