Whitney Porthas spent enough time on reality TV to be wary of it. It can bring out the worst in people and blur lines between reality and reality TV. And now that she has decided to return to the medium, Whitney is sharing her thoughts on coming back to it all and how she has meshed with her former costars.
Whitney was Lauren Conrad’scoworker onThe Hills. She handled herself with grace and stayed above the fray for the most part. Whitney basically sat in a closet with Lauren for two years and functioned as a soundboard to everyone else’s drama. Then she landed her own show, The City, for two seasons.
It must be time for the cast of The Hills: New Beginnings to start promoting their spinoff show because Stephanie Pratt is suddenly very vocal about her relationship with brother Spencer Pratt, and his wife HeidiMontag. After all, Heidi and Spencer have been married ten years already. What could Stephanie possibly say at this point that would make it relevant?
Spencer and Heidi met on the original show, The Hills. Their blossoming relationship came between Heidi’s friendship with Lauren Conradand Spencer quickly became the villain of the cast. He spirited Heidi away from her support system and was accused of isolating her from family and friends. But it turns out, according to what Stephanie is saying, that these two are made for each other.
The Hills: New Beginnings is in need of some reshoots and the cast is not happy about it. Network insiders have said that the stars would have to commit an additional three months of their time to complete the process, and though the cast is made up of reality TV alums, the group was not anticipating the additional commitment.
Sound the alarms! In what appears to be a serious statement, Vanderpump Rules resident party planner (?), StassiSchroeder, would like to have a baby. As in, a human child. Not to be confused with a man who has the maturity level of an infant, a real live bambino. Stassi has run the gamut of boyfriends since being on VPR. She’s gone from Jax Taylor, to that guy Frank, to quite literally the most irritating person of all time (no, not Katie Maloney), Patrick Meagher. Collectively, she probably has enough experience with immaturity to handle a small child. Last February, Stassi embarked on a new relationship with Beau Clark and the rest is history.
Beau seems like a decent enough chap, aside from his love of sleeveless t-shirts. Just because he’s a hipster and the last person a craft beer sees before it dies doesn’t mean he isn’t suitable Dad material. In fact, he seems rather harmless. One thing is for sure, if Stassi does have a child, it will have an endless supply of snark running through his or her veins.
I have always supported The Hills reboot, but I can’t help feeling confusion every time there’s additional casting news. How is this a “reality show” when there are just (seemingly) random people thrown in on top of some original cast members who are in touch for the first time in years?
There are two types of people in this world: Bravo viewers and liars. Pretty much everyone watches Bravo, right? Well, maybe not, but at the very least, pretty much anyone reading this does. Shahs of Sunset star Mercedes “MJ” Javidhas her own series on the network and she is an avid watcher of other Bravo shows.
Bravolebrities are just like us. They also watch shows on Bravo and have some strong opinions about the cast members. Well, at least a lot of them do. Shahs of Sunset star Mercedes “MJ” Javid is a very enthusiastic Bravo viewer and she has some very opinionated thoughts about the other shows on the network, particularly all of the drama that went down on the last season of Real Housewives of Atlanta.
