More bad news for Teen Mom star Amber Portwood.
As she currently sits in jail following her arrest yesterday for domestic violence (she was put on a 24-hour hold meaning she has to spend at least 24 hours in jail), RadarOnline is now reporting that Amber has been issued a ‘no contact’ order prohibiting her from being with her 2-year-old daughter Leah.
Amber was criminally charged yesterday with two felony counts of domestic battery and one count of neglect of a dependent. The ‘no contact’ order is due to the neglect charges.
According to Radar, Leah’s father and Amber’s ex Gary Shirley is expected to take care of Leah during this time. Amber was reportedly devastated after being arrested and finding out she was no longer allowed contact with Leah. “She’s scared. But her thoughts were with Leah and she knew Leah was going to be taken care of,” says a source.
As for Gary, he is also reported to be very upset and did not want Amber arrested or prosecuted for hitting him. “He wants her out of jail so he can have his family back. He knows she feels bad about everything that has happened,” adds a source.
No word on when the ‘no contact’ order against Amber will be lifted. Amber is expected to be released today as she only has to post 10% of her $5,000 bail.
UPDATE – TMZ is reporting Amber has posted bail and has been released. She has pled not guilty to all the charges. Below is a picture of Amber walking out of a jail with a woman who appears to be her mother according to TMZ.
