Kim DePaola Talks Real Housewives of New Jersey; Friendships With Teresa Giudice, Jacqueline Laurita – And Melissa Gorga!

Oh Kim D, love her or hate her or secretly relish in her antics as I do, it appears we are stuck with her! Kim is apparently returning to Real Housewives of New Jersey as a full-fledged housewife this season, earning her stripes with last season's stripper-gate set-up.

In a new interview Kim D is direct, to the point, and makes no secret that she is all about the fame and playing the game! She also has some surprising things to say!

Kim reveals that the show pretty much saved her business which was failing, pre-Housewives. Oh, you don't say? She is now opening a second boutique for all your NJ tackery needs!

"When I opened my store 5 years ago, this economy was in a completely different place," Kim reveals. "A year after I opened, everything crashed. That same year is the year I met Danielle [Staub] and Jacqueline [Laurita], and the show started airing and my gosh people just started coming in from everywhere!"

People probably think when they walk through the door sequins and fur will be flying with NJ wigs pelting them in the face. HA. It's not always as much drama as on fashion show day.

Kim also says she is friends with the entire RHONJ cast, including Melissa Gorga. "I am friends with them," Kim tells All Things Real Housewives. "But here’s the thing; the only time you see me doing something [not nice], or doing what I did to Melissa, is when they’ve done something to me."

"I’ve said 100 times what she [Melissa] did to me. If you’re gonna mess with me, you’re making a big mistake, because when I mess with you… you’re gonna know it! I’m good to people who are good to me, it’s as simple as that.”

"Jacqueline is very busy, especially with her son, so we text everyday and I’m going to say we talk twice a week. We are always telling each other how proud we are of each other," Kim shares.

"I can think what I want about Jacqueline, if I don’t like something that she did, I say it… and it doesn’t matter."

"My friendship with Caroline [Manzo] is different," Kim reveals. "Caroline and I can basically talk to each other about anything, but I wouldn’t get personal with her. I would say, ‘How’s your daughter? How’s your kids? How are you feeling?’ She shops at my store, I have an enormous amount of respect for her and vice versa. But would I ever get into asking personal questions about her marriage or herself? No. It just wouldn’t happen. Do we go out to dinner? Do we go out to lunch? No. It’s a different kind of friendship.”

And Kim says her friendship with Teresa Giudice is very real. "I love Teresa and we are very good friends," Kim shares. "She’s a good person, a good mother, a good wife and a good friend.”

Kim also believes Teresa and Jacqueline can heal their friendship. "Being friends with Jacqueline and being friends with Teresa when they had their falling out really, really bothered me. I was devastated."

"To hear about it when it happened I was upset, but when I actually watched it on screen, I got sick," Kim insists. "I got sick to my stomach. I don’t like to see women fight.” Really, Kim? REALLY?

And speaking of fights she is sick of, Kim echoes the viewers when she says everyone is over Poison vs. Teresa! "We’re all tired of hearing about it," Kim laments. "Enough is enough.”

Kim also has an opinion of Melissa's marriage to Joe – and the recent cheating allegations. “I do not believe Melissa cheated on Joe. I have to see it for myself," Kim says. "I’m not going to just run around saying something like that about somebody unless I know for sure. I would have to have really good evidence to believe that Melissa cheated on Joe.”

Speaking of family and friendship feuds, Kim says her favorite season of RHONJ contained Danielle! "I think it was fun when Danielle was on. I think Season 2 was good, and it was a lot of fun to shoot.”

I really do believe Danielle is making an appearance for a big finale fireworks display. I definitely think we'll see her again!

"I judge and I treat people the way that they treat me," Kim clarifies. “I have seen a lot of phoniness. People pretending to be something they aren’t, and it bothers me."

"I’m me, and I don’t care what camera is on, I don’t care who’s watching, who says anything, and I’m upset by it. I want everyone to be real.” Well, then perhaps stay away from reality TV, Kim?
