Yesterday reports were zipping around, claiming that Bravo execs have decided to put The Real Housewives of New Jersey on hold until Teresa Giudice is released from prison next year. First, we all know that Bravo never confirms or denies the status of any of the Real Housewives franchises or which stars will or won’t be asked to return. Second, we’re going to be hearing every sort of rumor and supposed “tea” on what’s going on behind the scenes, but don’t start placing your bets just yet.
Last season’s cast member Jim Marchese is speaking out with his thoughts on the filming status of the New Jersey franchise.

Jim spoke with Fox 411 and seems adamant that filming will go on without Teresa. “From what I understand, it takes a three or four month break after filming. The time frames I would start to expect shooting wouldn’t be for a month or two, and from the storylines — people’s lives — there’s so much that can still go on.”
Jim thinks the show is about much more than JUST Teresa’s drama. “It’s not about just one character. It’s all the characters. There was one episode that drew a lot of attention and she (Teresa) wasn’t even there,” he said. “The show does well because of the dynamics of the group and the interaction of the group. I believe the show can go on without Teresa.”
On her rough patch with Nicole after accusing her of being a home-wrecker and suffering a physical altercation with her, “We’re okay. I think going into the show we weren’t strong enough – there were things poking holes in our friendship. But I have a lot of respect for these ladies, and no one wants a continuation of a fight. I’m hoping that doesn’t happen again.”
Is she besties with Dina Manzo? Not exactly. Would she reconcile? “I would, if she cooled her jets and knocked her crap off. I never say never. I cut her out, because she knows my husband apologized and she keeps attacking him about his penis size. That IQ comment — I had just been attacked [by Nicole], we just wanted to leave, and here’s Dina, badgering Jim about why we didn’t go bowling [with Joe Giudice]!”
Things are still very strained with Bobby Ciasulli, “He’s an egotistical, spoiled little rich boy who has nothing else to do except put a used-car salesman spin on what actually happened.” Ouch.
