The Next Gen NYC crew is coming back! The Season 2 premiere is just around the corner, and the drama is already starting. Gia Giudice isn’t pulling any punches when she called out her co-star Ava Dash for accusing her mom, Teresa Giudice, of following and then unfollowing her on social media.
Ava Dash was called “nasty” for her behavior by the RHONJ daughter
“It came out of nowhere, and it just seems very convenient,” Gia told Virtual Reali-Tea hosts Evan Real and Danny Murphy. “That’s why I thought the whole thing was very calculated. This wasn’t the first time Ava and I had seen each other.”
Danny speculated that Ava may have made the claim against the Real Housewives of New Jersey OG to distract from headlines about her own family’s reported money problems. Gia added that she believes viewers will eventually see that “within her a little bit.”
Gia added that “nasty” Ava carefully manages her image and how people perceive her. “Obviously, no one wants bad press or bad attention. But unfortunately, that comes with this territory,” Gia admitted. She would know, considering the bad press Teresa has faced over the years.
Ava made the allegations about Teresa in the first season of Next Gen NYC, leading to tension between them and fracturing the friend group.
Gia didn’t believe it, telling Nick Viall on his podcast that her mom can barely film her Cameos correctly. She wouldn’t take the time to do a strategic follow/unfollow on socials. Plus, Teresa doesn’t care enough about Ava to do that.
Despite Ava’s mini feud with Teresa, Gia admits that she would never deny her co-star’s beauty. “You could be nasty and still beautiful,” she admitted.
As for the upcoming drama in the new season, Gia admits some of it is stemming from Ariana Biermann and Hudson McLeroy’s breakup. Gia and friends supported Ariana, and that continues now as the couple is “taking time” to figure out their relationship. They haven’t made anything official yet.
