After weeks of speculation, The Real Housewives of New Jersey Season 15 has finally begun filming. Previously, the show went “on pause” after the tumultuous Season 14 ended in June 2024.
Nearly two years later, Melissa Gorga and the rest of the cast were spotted filming. One of the first cast events was a surprise birthday party Melissa and Joe Gorga threw for Teresa Giudice.
The Real Housewives of New Jersey family members are finally back in a good place
In an X video (formerly Twitter), Teresa and her husband Luis Ruelas arrive at the party to shouts of “Surprise!” After giving Luis a quick kiss, Teresa gets a hug and a kiss on the cheek from her brother. Following hugs all around, Teresa greets the other ladies.
Poster Jay captioned the video, “Melissa and Joe threw Teresa a surprise b-day party!”
Reaction to the video was mixed. While some commenters were just happy to see the family back together, others thought, “The thirst and fakeness [are] real.” Overall, most fans are just happy the feud is over (for now) and the show can continue.
On May 11, NBCUniversal, Bravo’s parent company, held upfronts for their upcoming shows. During the presentations, Melissa shared some insider information about when RHONJ filming might pick up.
“I think we’ve been on pause a little too long,” she said in the clip. “I’m super excited. I might have a little secret, I don’t know if I’m allowed to say this or not … We start tomorrow!”
“The craziness begins,” she added. “Lots of new faces. So very excited to meet all of the new faces.”
Back in March, Bravo confirmed the cast for RHONJ Season 15. Returning cast members include Teresa, Melissa and Dolores Catania.
While Margaret Josephs voluntarily left the show, most sources believe that Jennifer Aydin was not asked back. In Jennifer’s case, an insider told RealityBlurb, “That’s not going to happen … Bravo cannot stand her … She is persona non grata.”
The Real Housewives of New Jersey Season 15 is currently filming. All other seasons are streaming on Peacock.
