Bethenny Frankel Chastises Ramona Singer for Wanting Charity Press!

Who needs therapy when you’ve got a reality show with 7 other women in various states of neuroses with whom to work out your crazy? This week Bethenny Frankel opens up about how returning to the Real Housewives of New York has helped her, how Ramona Singer continues to be “Vintage Singer” (i.e., Alpha Lunatic) in any given scene, and why Heather Thomson should accept Dorinda Medley’s apology without “strings.”

Bethenny is delighted about her new apartment, which she invited Carole Radziwill over to see. “I was excited for all of you to see my new apartment, and I can’t wait until you get to see the finished product. I know you will love it.” Bethenny is relieved that her #perfecttiming in leaving the Turks & Caicos trip prevented her from witnessing naked man butt, or its messy aftermath in the house. “After hearing Carole’s side of the stranger-in-the-bed story, I’ve never felt safer standing in the middle of the road.”

Calling out Ramona on her classic over-the-top behavior at Kristen Taekman’s SMILETRAIN charity event, Bethenny says, “Ramona was vintage Singer. She donates eight necklaces but wants to hog the press for her brand. FYI, I donated product for the gift bags but declined the need to be on the step and repeat sign and asked for nothing in return. You need to pick your spots. Ramona chooses them all. Heather was on point.”

Bethenny made sure to tweet a thank you, along with accompanying photo of the gift baskets she donated, yesterday to prove her charitable worthiness: “:) @Smiletrain: .@Bethenny thank u for donating ur @SkinnyGirl products for our Denim + Diamonds gift bags! #RHONY.

Taking issue with Heather’s seemingly lukewarm reaction to Dorinda’s apology at the event, Bethenny explains, “As far as Dorinda’s apology and Heather’s acceptance, I understand Dorinda’s point. Accept it and move on, unconditionally. Heather had a vibe that was still hanging on to the apology. It seemed the acceptance had strings.”

As for the ongoing therapy with Dr. Amadour, Bethenny praises the wonders of self-examination and the intelligence of her long suffering doctor. “Regarding Doctor Amadour, this man is smart. He knows me. Whatever he says is probably at least somewhat true. I’m a complicated cookie. That is no secret. I’ve had an interesting life and past, and therapy is an amazing tool for owning your stuff, becoming self-aware, and not being alone in your head.”

While she may have Dr. Amadour of the endless couch sessions, Dorinda and Carole find support in one another during the beginning of their emotional trip to London. Bethenny shares, “I’m glad Carole and Dorinda are able to lean on each other’s shoulders. I have a great deal of compassion for their loss.”

But if Carole and Dorinda are bonding, then who does that leave to have sex dreams compassion for Bethenny in her time of need? She closes her blog admitting that the show itself “has oddly been an incredible tool for me to reflect and look at myself. Like therapy, when used constructively, it can be a gift.” Well, if reality TV can be used for good and not evil, then I’m all for it! But one can never tell how long this “gift” will last, given this group of NY ladies.
