Tamra Judge On The Challenges Of Juggling Marriage And Business; Plus, The Future Of CUT Fitness.

Tamra Judge on WWHL

Tamra Judge is admitting that she and Eddie Judge bit off more togetherness than they could chew by opening a new business in their first year of marriage. In this week’s episode of Real Housewives Of Orange County Tamra told Eddie she’s going to be less involvement in CUT Fitness to re-focus on her real estate career.

“Getting married and starting a business in the same year was a challenge and I wouldn’t recommend it to anyone,” advises Tamra. “CUT Fitness has had its up and downs and so many times I wanted to throw in the towel, but what I have learned is it takes a good three years to get a company off the ground.

“My dream of opening up and business with my husband wasn’t so easy,” Tamra acknowledges. “I found out fast that I had a lot to learn about running a business. As CUT Fitness had growing pains so did the Judges! But nothing we couldn’t handle as you will see.”

Tamra cites personality differences as one reason for their struggles. “Eddie had experience in starting a business and knew WAY more than I did (but he still only owns 49% hehe). Eddie lives his days off his calendar and organized spreadsheets and I fly by the seat of my pants. So obviously we would butt heads about things.”

In light of their struggles, Tamra decided to concede some of her day-to-day involvement. “I thought it would be best if I limited my time at CUT (to three days a week) and get back into real estate. I kept my license active and have teamed up with a group at Keller Williams Mission Viejo.”

However Tamra maintains she is still involved in CUT’s planned expansions. She started a YouTube channel to feature “short videos of workouts, food prepping, healthy lifestyle choices, and a little behind the scenes look at CUT.” There are also plans for CUT franchises. Here’s your opportunity to go into business with Tamra!

Reacting to the rest of the episode, Tamra comments on Shannon Beadors marital drama, Vicki Gunvalson‘s announcement about Tahiti, and Meghan Edmonds‘ sad attempt at hashtag cool step-momming.

“I loved seeing David and Shannon out to dinner and happy,” praised Tamra. “The first few episodes of them have been so painful to watch. That bracelet David bought Shannon is beautiful. Good job, David.”

“Let me just say, I HATE BOWLING! But I was happy to go and get Vicki’s mind off the passing of her Mom. It was extremely sad when Vicki said her Mom would watch the kids. I can’t imagine the emotions she is going through,” writes Tamra in her Bravo Blog. “Next week we are going to Tahiti…woot woot! I am excited and scared to see next week’s episode. Housewife trips are always filled with drama and this one is NO different.”

Finally Tamra cautions Meghan about what appears to be a no-win situation with her stepdaughter Hayley. “I feel bad for Meghan; she is four months into her marriage and having to take on the role of stepmom to a defiant teenager. That’s a battle she is probably going to lose. Good luck, Meg.”

And since Tamra wasn’t able to blog last week she gushes about us getting to witness the arrival of her granddaughter Ava. “What a blessed memory to have on camera. It was one of the happiest days of my life,” exclaims that proud Tam-Ma. “Ava is now five months old and has brought so much love to our family.” Tamra did not comment on the recent news that her son Ryan was arrested for domestic violence.
