After recently losing their Pomeranian, Daddio, Lisa Vanderpump and Ken Todd have added another dog in need to their brood. As you know Lisa is passionate about dogs, just not bitches!
It wasn’t intentional – the Sacramento, CA SPCA reached out to the Real Housewives Of Beverly Hills star with information about a Pom named Harrison who suffers form Alopecia. Giggy also suffers from Alopecia, so the animal rescue organization obviously knew they could find support in Lisa, who has been active in charities for children with the disease. The SPCA hoped Lisa would help get the word out about Harrison needing a loving home – but she ended up doing so much more.

The SPCA got Lisa’s attention by sharing a side-by-side of Giggy and Harrison, who do look remarkably similar! “Look who is going up for adoption! Does he look familiar? He has alopecia too! @LisaVanderpump @giggythepom @Andy,” tweeted the organization through their staffer Sarah Varanini.
Lisa immediately responded that she would be more than happy to adopt Harrison herself!
“I just left my number on your answer phone! How old is he? Where did he come from? Is he aggressive? Alopecia all over?” Lisa asked. “He’s 4 years old. Alopecia on hind end/trunk area. Very friendly! Surrendered because his owner moved out of the county,” the SPCA reported. It turns out Harrison also has only one ear(!), but Lisa was undeterred.
The very next day Lisa and Ken drove to Sacramento to adopt Harrison, whom they met in a McDonald’s parking lot! I’m sure Lisa was just doing this all for PR cause she’s obsessed with publicity, right?! #sarcasm
“She loved him right away,” shelter spokeswoman Lesley Kirrene told the Sacramento Bee. “We’re hoping to see Harrison on the show. He certainly has the personality for it!”
Harrison is now happily settled at Villa Rosa, ensconced among the finery and satin, and donning an Alopecia-protecting wardrobe while meeting with celebrities. Oh, and to cement his new Bravolebrity status, Harrison was already awarded Andy’s Mazel Of The Day on WWHL.
