Eddie Cibrian is usually quite content to fly under the media radar, even in the past when his wife, LeAnn Rimes, and his ex-wife, Brandi Glanville, were continually sniping at each other in the press. But every once in a while he finds his voice and speaks up. Tonight is one of those times.
Earlier this week Brandi sat down with Nik Richie to dish on her new reality show, her old reality show and everything in between. Nik started the interview off way back at the beginning of Brandi’s rise to fame (aka Eddie’s affair with LeAnn) and she was candid, as always, about her grievances with their current situation. The two things that bug Brandi the most: the lack of a respectable amount of child support from Eddie, and the oversharing of photos of her boys by LeAnn. Brandi said in the interview that it basically kills her to see the family photos of her boys with Eddie and LeAnn and that she wished LeAnn wouldn’t do it anymore. In an interview with People magazine, Eddie calls bullshit on it, saying Brandi has never asked LeAnn to stop. Not that she should have to. “It upsets me. Brandi is lying. She lies for the sake of publicity and she has to bring in my wife unfortunately for it to make headlines. It isn’t fair. She never asked LeAnn to not post pictures of the kids during the holidays, ever. They don’t even talk!”

Responding to Brandi saying she doesn’t see her kids as much as she’d like, Eddie said, “She sees the kids as much as I do. She was with them for Christmas Eve and Christmas Day. And I miss my kids tremendously when they’re not with me, but I don’t ask her not to post pictures.” Well, we all wish he would – at least ones of the boys in their freaking underwear. Sorry, but there are too many weirdos in the world…
Eddie continued, “The kids have lived in a household with LeAnn and me longer than they ever lived in a household with me and Brandi. This is normal. They’re well-adjusted. But it saddens me that they can get on the Internet and get influenced by this negativity that only comes from one side. That’s really disheartening.”

He also shared that he wishes the media would stop taking Brandi’s bait (aka her truth cannons) and wishes the situation would die off and go away so they can be left alone. He also wishes that the personal attacks against LeAnn would come to an end, since she’s done nothing but love the boys. “[Our sons] have a mother who loves them, and a father and a stepmother who loves them. That’s all that should matter.”
