It’s been a crazy few weeks for the Biermann bunch. Kroy Biermann was signed to the Buffalo Bills and before the fam could really celebrate, he was included in the list of players who were cut from the team. Now his wife Kim Zolciak is speaking out about Kroy’s future in football. And on top of that, Kroy just had a tryout with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, so hopefully that’s going to work out.

As a dedicated Don’t Be Tardy viewer, I have become pretty invested in the Biermann family so I am really hoping that Kroy finds a way to continue playing football this season. At the very least, he has his backup career of being a reality TV star to fall back on while he figures things out.

Without a doubt, Kroy’s number one cheerleader his wife. Kim opened up to Us Weekly about Kroy’s football career. She said, “I want him to be happy.” Of course she wants him to play football in the NFL, but it will be interesting to see where he ends up since it dictates other aspects of the family. Kim explained, “With the NFL comes a lot of change, and Ariana starting high school is tough. She doesn’t want to pick up and go start high school somewhere else, so I have to look at that. It’s my marriage and my family, and how do we balance it all? It will be interesting to see where Kroy ends up and what we do to balance it.”

As of this second, nothing is decided, but Kroy did have a try out on Tuesday with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. Defensive end Jacquies Smith can’t play for the team this season because of a torn ACL, so in theory Kroy would be filling in that spot. This seems like a much more ideal situation than playing in Buffalo since the family is based in Atlanta which is much closer to Tampa Bay.  So maybe Kroy getting the axe from Buffalo will work out for the best since I feel like it would be much easier for Biermann family to work around him playing for the Buccaneers.

Don’t forget that Don’t Be Tardy returns tonight with an all new season. It kicks off at 10/9cst, right after RHONY reunion part 3 airs!
