We’ve all heard of a bridezilla, but what about a momzilla? Candiace Dillard’s mom is doing everything she can to add drama to this wedding. During tonight’s Real Housewives of Potomac episode, Candiace walks down the aisle, but not without some shade. Her mom insults her wedding dress. She’s still hating on Candiace for inviting her own brother. And, most likely, she doesn’t crack a smile one time. Beyond bitter. Poor Candiace.
And there are more issues at the wedding than mama drama.
Ashley Darby tries to be cool with Karen Huger and Monique Samuels again. However, they are not receptive of her efforts. At all.
Gizelle Bryant’s man Sherman Douglas ditches her just hours before Candiace’s wedding, leaving her pretty devastated. She calls her girl Robyn Dixon to break the news. And at the end of the day, she blames Monique’s meddling from last season for Sherman’s refusal to attend the wedding- i.e. his refusal to appear on Real Housewives of Potomac. Monique tries to apologize to Gizelle for being so messy last year. She went out of her way to dig up dirt on Sherman. She even started hanging out with his ex-wife. On camera, of course. Very messy.
Considering that Gizelle just got ditched, she is not here for Monique’s apology. Of course.
