The last episode of Real Housewives of Orange County featured a heavy storyline for Tamra Judge and her oldest son Ryan Vieth. They brought the cameras into his therapy session, where Ryan complained about his childhood and how those problems still affect his life today.
During the episode, Tamra admitted that her “biggest fear” is that “one day Ryan might commit suicide.” Tamra was sympathetic, but her husband, Eddie Judge, was far from it. Normally, Eddie does what he can to not make waves. However, Real Housewives of Orange County viewers were up in arms over the comments he made about Ryan “not being a man” because he’s affected by his childhood trauma.
After the episode, Ryan took turned to Instagram to thank people for support. According to an article published by The Blast, Ryan wrote in his Instagram Story, “Thank you for the hundreds of messages ive received over the past 2 days. Everything is good and things are going great. Means a lot to have complete strangers reach out with good intentions. Thanks again life is good i can’t complain.”
It’s nice to see that things are going well for Ryan and that he’s actually using social media for good. Ryan has been in some hot water recently when it comes to his Instagram activity.
In August, Ryan posted that he’s done with Real Housewives of Orange County and accused his ex-girlfriend Sarah Rodridguez of cheating on him with Dakota Meyer from Teen Mom. That same month, Sarah posted screenshots of their text message conversations where Ryan told her to kill herself, sent a photo of a bullet, and called her daughter a “little bitch.”
In January, Ryan wrote an incredibly offensive, transphobic post on Instagram. His mom Tamra “liked” it, by the way. Yikes.
This post is definitely a much better look for the RHOC offspring.
