Real Housewives Alum Jeana Keough Shares How Daughter Kara Keough Has Been Handling The Loss Of Her Son; Reveals Matt Keough’s Cause Of Death

Real Housewives of Orange County alum Jeana Keough and her family have been going through a lot lately. Last month, Jeana’s daughter Kara Keough and her husband Kyle Bosworth welcomed their second child together, a baby boy. Sadly, baby McCoy Bosworth passed away at childbirth.

Just a couple weeks later, Jeana’s ex-husband Matt Keough passed away. In addition to Kara, Matt and Jeana had two sons together, Colton Keough and Shane Keough, who RHOC viewers saw a lot of during the early days of the show. Kara has been very open and honest as she goes through her grief, mourning the loss of her father and her newborn son. Recently, Jeana spoke out for the first time.

In a recent interview with HollywoodLife, Jeana revealed, “[Kara has] reached out to a lot of friends. She’s reached out to people who’ve lost children.” She elaborated, “Morgan Beck, Bode Miller‘s wife, lost a baby, an 18-month-old to a swimming accident. She and Kara were close throughout all of that and Morgan was one of the first to reach out to her this time. And a lot of women that have lost children for different reasons have reached out to her. So that’s been great.”

That is very nice to hear that Kara has such a strong support system. Additionally, Kara being so open and honest about her loss has probably helped a lot of people, even some that she isn’t personally in touch with.

Jeana revealed that Matt passed away from a pulmonary embolism. Jeana admitted, “You know what to lose a grandchild and an ex husband in less than three weeks — it’s been rough.” That is completely understandable.

Our hearts go out to Jeana, Kara, and the rest of the Keough family members. They have really been through a lot lately.
