Real Housewives of Orange County alum Jeana Keough is navigating a challenging medical diagnosis. And her former co-star, Vicki Gunvalson, is standing beside her. Right now, Jeana is undergoing treatment for squamous cell carcinoma of her tongue.

As you may recall, Jeana left RHOC during Season 5. However, she popped in as a guest in later seasons.
Meanwhile, Jeana’s daughter, Kara Keough, stepped in to try to make her mom’s life a little easier. She started a GoFundMe for her mom. “Jeana is now in her fifth week of chemotherapy, radiation, and immunotherapy. The treatments are relentless,” Kara wrote on the fundraising platform. “On top of the physical toll, she has been unable to work.
Then, Vicki entered the chat. Vicki was a guest on SiriusXM’s Jeff Lewis Live. She shared that Jeana’s tongue cancer was reportedly stage three, and “she had to have half of her tongue removed from the back to the front.”
She added that Jeana has been hospitalized for three weeks and can’t eat “because she’s doing chemo, radiation, and immunotherapy,” which Vicki claimed was “slapping her body.” Vicki continued, “She is getting a small pension from Matt [Keough], and she’s getting her Social Security.” As you may remember, Matt was Jeana’s former husband, who passed away in 2020.
“It’s not enough to support her rent in Coto De Caza. She rents a house there and her life. So, they’ve asked for a little bit of help,” the “OG” of the OC explained. “I obviously helped and people are questioning the same thing and they have a right to question it.” Vicki added, “And she’s commissioned sales just like I am. She hasn’t been able to work, and the income stopped.”
The GoFundMe has raised over $70,000 of the $90,000 goal as of this writing.
